The Wait staff were friendly, fast, and nurturing. The atmosphere is so authentic, the music loud enough to enjoy yet low enough to have a conversation with your partner. The Mexican food here at San Juan's is the best I've tasted in San Antonio so far. It is a hidden gem. Yes, it's not perfect and "high end" but it reminds me of home; even if my home was in Korea, it reminded me of my mother's cooking somehow. Perfecto.
They are always welcoming & attentive here! I love the charro bean! They're the best charro beans I've ever had! Well I mean I guess y’all were running low on eggs and potatoes? I love the potato and eggs tacos with bacon but today wasn’t it. My tortilla wasn’t even cooked all the way ? very small portion for my taco.
