This place used to be good don’t be fooled by the one star Brian used to run this place and carried everyone on his back, for the most part. But ever since he left the place has just gone downhill. The last couple of times I’ve been here it’s just not been good to say the least, no cheese every time I ask for cheese and yes it is my fault for not checking and holding up the line but still someone shouldn’t ask for something pay for it and not receive it, it’s just ridiculous. My next problem is the last time I was here my bread was soggy and literally tasted like cigarette smoke or something else but it just tasted like some type of smoke and not a good kind. Overall this place has gone downhill and I do not plan on coming back.

I like this location for one primary reason, it's very clean! I've honestly never eaten at this location. But I stop there to use the restrooms when working in the area. The people working there are always friendly too.

I've never had issues with the consistency of the food here. But it seems the night shift consistently leaves an absolute MESS for the morning guys. Every time I come in the morning, it takes over fifteen minutes even with no orders coming in. Seriously, it needs to be fixed.

The 3 stars do not reflect the employees at this WB. They are 5 stars. From the cashier who took my order to the hostess who asked me twice if I needed anything. Even the customers were friendly, including a sweet woman who made my day by complimenting me for taking off my golf cap before eating my lunch.The problem was the hamburger. I ordered the good old #1 with grilled onions and a toasted bun. The beef pattie was very dry, and when I lifted the bun to salt it, the pattie was almost split in two. There were chunks of lettuce that helped finish spliting the pattie. I looked forward to eating the Whataburger of so many years and got an imitation. But this isn't the only local Whataburger that serves dry, split hamburger patties. This surprises me because before the founding family sold WB to owners in Chicago, hamburgers were always dependable and imaginative. Maybe Whataburger should be re-named, "Chicagoburger," so that we native Texans should know what to expect.Update: 6/19/2022. Whataimprovement! Since my last post, I've eaten at this location 3 or 4 times, ordering good ol' #1 again. The grill is working! The ground beef is in tact and like the original Whataburger.Update: 2/10/23. Food well prepared. Hostess "Mary" is always great.Update: 5/25/23. Pretty crowded at lunchtime because it's good. I brought $10 worth of quarters, which the nice cashier liked because change is needed all day, even though folks use debit cards more often.Update: 10/27/23. More cudos for hostess "Mary," whom I consider the face of this Whataburger. I made a special order for a toasted bun and grilled onions, as shown on my receipt. I was hungry, and it wasn't until I finished half the burger I not only had no grilled onions, I had no onions at all. It wasn't a big deal, but Mary brought a generous helping of grilled onions in two minutes. Whataburger is lucky to employ her!Update: 3/8/2024. My hamburger today had way too much mustard; the condiment covered up the taste of the beef.
I enjoy coming to this location! I always have a pleasant experience. My food is fresh, & made to perfection when it comes to taste & quality. Also, when Carlos R. is doing the drive thru, he provides genuine kindness, which is a major key to great customer service! I appreciate this location, and their team. I highly recommend it. ?

Okay so regardless of location I always get the sweet and spicy bacon burger. Almost every single time there is way too much sauce, it was made completely wonky as if the cook was just lazy or too overwhelmed. It has been okay at best which seems to be becoming a standard for whataburger. However, today at the brook hollow location on 02/15/2024 at 2:15pm my sweet and spicy bacon burger was made to perfection. I mean it was restaurant quality delicious. The cook/prepper must be a sweet and spicy bacon burger person themselves because they really knew what to do. It was the perfect amount of sauce and a little extra mustard. It could have been a lucky outcome but I would like to believe it was intentional by someone who cares. So this persons work made me want to speak out and I commend you for the burger you made. Here is a picture of my receipt and order number. If I could give you a tip I would. Cause that thing was damn delicious.
