It was an experience and we had fun. Enjoyed the conveyor belt and drive up train when ordering. Restaurant looked crisp and clean. Sushi was inconsistent. The rice was hard and fell apart when picked up on some plates. Since they are churning them out, each portion was cut differently and nothing like other sushi experiences. The conveyor belts were always empty of the most popular sushi. The menu descriptions weren’t helpful, and nearly every simple option came topped with caviar—which I don’t enjoy.

I’ve been a long-time supporter of this restaurant, coming here since before it was revolving sushi bar. The food has always been excellent, and I’ve consistently loved the service.

Unfortunately, today’s experience fell far short of the usual standard. After being seated, it took 10 minutes before anyone even stopped by to ask if we’d been helped. That server was wonderful, as always, but it then took our assigned server an additional 15 minutes just...
