Delia's Specializing in Tamales

I have always bought tamales from Delia’s. This December I placed a pre order which I went and picked today. To my surprise, the tamales are not the same no more. They had no flavor at all and were very dry. I was so disappointed. I guess I will have to find somewhere else to buy tamales for next year. So sad.

Delia’s serve some of the most famous tamales in Texas for a reason. Their customer service is as excellent as their food. I had an issue with the delivery date for a bill order of tamales and they went above and beyond to get it fixed and process the refund. We were able to get the tamales scheduled for pick up at another location in the time we needed them. Thanks to everyone at Delia’s for excellent food and service!

The tamales were very tasty, and the coffee was also very good, except that when I asked for decaffeinated coffee they didn't have it and the cajeta made a face and got upset when I told her that I couldn't have that because the caffeine hurt me, she had some old coffee and that one gave me. But hey, as long as they change that detail the rest is fine.

Tamales delicious. Just 1 small dislike- the chicken w/ cream cheese had too little chicken. Still didnt deduct stars as still tastey. Nxt time maybe try menudo it looked so good.

best tamales ever but the demand is so great that you will have wait to order. the drive thru is very efficient but usually wraps around the block.

Drove all the way from Houston to a funeral for my cousin. Had to visit Delias for some homemade tamales. Stuffed my face!!! Will be back hopefully soon. Took several dozen back to Houston.
