I love the food but the quality is slipping. The salad vegetables were not fresh and I thought they served a field green mix in the past. Today the lettuce mix was really sad looking. The spinach was passable. Sad bc it was my favorite restaurant in San Marcos.

I came at 1:30 for lunch and the K-Pop chicken was barely warm. Brown rice was luke warm, everything tepid like it had been out for a couple hours. This might have been understandable near close, but during lunch hours was a huge let down. I had about 3 bites and left the bowl on the table. I ended up at Hawaiian Bros. which is mediocre at best, but was far more enjoyable than Chi-lantro. The meal here was hot at least and had some flavor.

The food here is an absolute 10/10! I eat here so often that I’ve tried nearly everything on the menu and I can without a doubt assure you will LOVE this place too! Everything is super fresh and loaded with fantastic & unique flavors! The portions are large, the service is fast and friendly, and this location is light, bright, very clean.

The first time I had Chi’Lantro I was at a work event and they had their food truck there. It was love at first bites I have been obsessed ever since. I’ve been going to the San Marcos location for a while and the service is always top tier. The restaurant is very clean and basic. It is usually pretty quiet. One important thing to know is the store is cashless. I usually order through the app and I love their rewards program and birthday rewards so signing up for their rewards is a must. The food is a little pricy for fast food but it is really good. My favorite drink is the Basil Peach lemonade. I like to switch up the meals. I love the Kimchi fries, the fried wings and sometimes I will do a build your own bowl. Give them a try you won’t be disappointed.

This place never ceases to amaze me! I am so happy that they've created this San Marcos location, and I think it fits in perfectly! The service from all of the workers, always the sweetest, and the food portions when dining in are heavenly! :-) I will certainly keep coming back for more! Yum!
