I'm no fish connoisseur but the food here tastes really fresh to me. If I had the money I'd eat it for lunch every day. The regular size bowl might look small, but they really pack it in and it always leaves me feeling full. The creamy cilantro is my favorite sauce.My only complaint is that while the portion is big, the bowl itself is small and hard to eat out of without spilling if you want to mix it around! I always get spinach and rice though so maybe that's why, the leaves are big. I take it home and empty it into a bigger bowl.

horrible service. your "closing time" says 10 pm but i walked in @9:30 and "yall were closed." change your time on maps and your attitudes if you want NEW customers. your food is amazing but your rejection to a customer while STILL BEING OPEN is stupid. won't be going back here untilsomething gets sorted about that.

It's like a build your own bowl but with sushi ingredients that are so fresh and healthy, it leaves me excited for the next time before I even finish what I'm eating. Also the price point for the quantity and customization is sustainable for your addiction - and you will become addicted. They have free miso and their water cooler is always infused with fresh fruits. I wasn't a fan of sushi before trying this place but getting to test all those options on their own has made me a lover of all sushi! I can't stop recommending this place, just give it a shot and I know you'll feel the same.
We love Hawaii Poke & have been going since the day they opened.The staff are always super nice & attentive, The options for Toppings on the bowl are phenomenal-(way more than one we used to frequent in the Northeast)And in all honesty it really is a good value for poke/sushi grade protein-(You could even split the bowl into 2 meals if you got plenty of toppings)Really the only minor drawback is sometimes the quality of the fish can vary a little bit-(never below food grade or fishy taste) but heck the daily catch from a coastal restaurant can have down day too.All in all Hawaii Poke is a fantastic Poke experience.

Always a pleasant experience. Food is quality. The strawberry and coconut smoothie are sooo good. I also love that they also have a cooked meat option: chicken!

This place is delicious! I cannot recommend it enough. The food is great and they have lots of options for everyone. I would recommend getting tortilla chips as a topping, they add a nice crunch to your poke bowl. The food is so good, the service is fast and friendly, and the atmosphere of the place is nice. I would also like to take a moment to talk about the water at this place. They infuse the water with lots of yummy fruits, and it is so nice and refreshing. My mom and I came yesterday after yoga class, and the water totally hit the spot. I have nothing but good things to say about this place, and if you are looking for some yummy poke, look no further!

This is my favorite place for Hawaii poke hands down, I have tried a couple in Austin and San Marcos, this definitely has the best quality for your money.I usually get the big bowl to get extra scoop of protein for $2, and there is no limit at all to the ingredients you can add. The bases, you can also mix in brown rice and zucchini noodles (my favorite combo).Not much seating areas though, I think only a handful, 3 booths and 3 tables? But never been an issue :) if you ever swing by San Marcos and love Hawaii Poke, definitely swing by and give the place a try.
