My dad was craving for some Texas BBQ so we ended up trying this spot on 4/4/24 since we were in the area. First off when we arrived at noon time the parking lot was almost packed and all of the car parked there are the Ford trucks. We almost couldn't get a spot. What's will all the big ford trucks here? The wait was a bit long but that was due to the people ordering not the service staff. Staff was and always is nice and hospitable. The food (brisket and port ribs, potato salad and cream corn) did not disappoint. It was as great as it usually is. The place is always clean and great for a small group or crowd. Honestly, we can't find a place that is as consistent as they are with the brisket and pork ribs.

Best of both worlds, great good & customer service! My little family and I traveled to San Antonio to try their BBQ & believe me, it did not disappoint. This place is definitely a must try when visiting San Marcos. We'll be coming back to Hays very soon with more of our friends & family.
