Location is the highlight! We sat on the patio while the sun set and tons of folks floating, paddling, and swimming in the river. Food was good, avocado toast and BBQ Mac n' cheese were the highlights. Brisket and coleslaw not so much. Service was slow, our server preferred hanging out with younger customers and chatting, but overall good and will return.

Nice location, okay food, horrible service. Honestly, unless you're willing to eat anything coz you're too hungry then fine, come to this place. Otherwise, there are better places to go. When there's more empty tables than people dining and it still takes 45 minutes to get your food without any explanation or apologies, something is very wrong.

I honestly really enjoyed this riverside bar. We stopped in to eat and have a drink. We had a really nice spot overlooking the river and it was just nice and peaceful. I tried the mermaid margarita and it was good. Also had a shrimp Alfredo pasta and it was extremely delicious! Would definitely come back to hang out again.

Service could've been much more regular. My pasta was just awful and needing more Alfredo in the sauce, too gritty. Mozzarella sticks were bland, oysters had no option to be fresh, only fired.Margarita's were far too sweet and unflavorful.Scene was just, 'okay'

Food was great except for the goat cheese appetizer, which was an odd mix of flavors... Good luck finding parking during peak times. Other than that, extremely enjoyable experience, the rest of the food was tasty, and sitting by the water at night with all the lights and so on was quite lovely.

To start I want to say that my complaints are only about the food, our server Nick was amazing and super attentive and sweet! However, I went to Ivar’s yesterday to get my favorite food ever, the fried goat cheese, and a rib plate for my entree. I even double checked the menu online. Unfortunately they’ve apparently changed the menu recently and took off ALL the best items! Even the deviled eggs with fried oysters are gone! It was extremely disappointing to show up and not be able to get any of our favorite items. We tried the replacement goat cheese appetizer but it wasn’t nearly as good as the fried goat cheese. The menu is super basic now and for some reason they’ve added Italian food at a pub??? I probably won’t be back unless the menu is returned to its former glory:(
