Food was great except for the goat cheese appetizer, which was an odd mix of flavors... Good luck finding parking during peak times. Other than that, extremely enjoyable experience, the rest of the food was tasty, and sitting by the water at night with all the lights and so on was quite lovely.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ivars River Pub in San Marcos, Texas, for lunch with my family, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with friendly staff greeting us upon arrival. The pet-friendly policy was a big plus, allowing us to enjoy our meal with our furry family member by our side. I honestly really enjoyed this riverside bar. We stopped in to eat and have a drink. We had a really nice spot overlooking the river and it was just nice and peaceful. I tried the mermaid margarita and it was good. Also had a shrimp Alfredo pasta and it was extremely delicious! Would definitely come back to hang out again.
