I really liked the atmosphere here. The staff was very friendly. The food was pretty good. For some reason, I did not care for the chili sauce on the enchiladas. I probably should have tried the green sauce and will on my next visit. The carne guisada was very good, tender and great flavor. I always love to find homemade corn tortillas. The carne asada nachos were excellent. I will update this review after another visit.
Stumbled on this place while driving around San Marcos looking for an alternative to food around TXST campus.This was such a great place!! Both food and service was so much better than Maria's near campus!! Sour cream enchiladas were fantastic! A must try if you are visiting your student and want good tex-mex!!
