OMG This is one of the best TexMex spots I’ve found so far! My daughter and I found this place. They have generous portions of delicious foods. The service and staff are wonderful and very attentive. It was further than we planned to drive but was definitely worth the drive. This will be “my spot” from now on.
Appreciated the cleanliness, bright lighting, and strong a/c, but was pretty disappointed by the food. The $17 ceviche was either made with thawed frozen shrimp from a bag or stored improperly because it was incredibly unfresh. The flavor was basic and monotonous, too much tomato, not enough lime - not at all what I wanted from ceviche. Lastly, it did not sit well on the stomach after a few hours later.
I had a mixed experience. The oysters were just okay—not the standout I was hoping for, but they were fresh and well-presented.
On the other hand, the soup was spot on! It was flavorful and comforting, definitely a highlight of the meal.
