I ordered the blueberry donut (unglazed) and cherry sprinkled donut. Together it only cost me $2.19 which is very reasonable to me. My only critique/ complaint about the donuts is that they were a little on the oily side. Note, I went at about an hour before close. I prefer donuts to not be that oily. I usually only see strawberry sprinkled donuts, so I was curious about the cherry flavor. Overall it was very good. There were also some good seating options despite it being a small location. I sat at the bar/ counter area as you can see in the photo.

The people serving the food have horrible hygiene habits for food service. One morning I watched two ladies serving customers with one hand while eating donuts with the other hand. This morning I was going to buy donuts but the lady packing them kept wiping her runny nose with her bare hand while packing the donuts.

Got my iced coffee and it's half way full and 90% ice. This is honestly ridiculous. And it s doesn't even taste good. Waste of money. Thank you.

Shipleys can’t ever go wrong. Always delicious and a easy crowd pleaser

I've only been to a Shipley's this one time, but the donut I had was the worst donut I have ever eaten. The flavor was very 'meh', but WORSE is the fact that the donut left the inside of my mouth coated in lard or shortening...some type of fat. And I just had cinnamon sugar donuts--so nothing frosted. That appalling mouth feel was some aspect of the dough recipe, or maybe some error with this particular batch of dough. It was disgusting, truly. I ordered two donuts and I took a few bites of one. I tried to figure out what was going on, then just threw all of it away. I almost never throw away food; I literally eat stuff that might not be the safest just to avoid throwing away food. So for me to throw out more than one donut...when I had been CRAVING donuts...says a lot. My spouse ordered two other completely different donuts that same trip and also did not finish them. The donuts are pretty for sure; but if you actually want to enjoy EATING the donuts as much as you enjoyed looking at them, then go across the street to the bakery department at H.E.B., instead lol.

The donuts here are amazing. Large selection. Service was fast. Ambiance is standard for a donut shop.
I have been eating Shipley donuts for many-many decades. My go/to is the Apple fritter. Shipleys has a signature one. It's huge and crusty, and wonderful.I asked for a Apple fritter upon my first visit here. When I got down the road and opened it up to eat it, it was nothing like Houston's many original Shipleys locations. This fritter was simply a apply filled donut, see pics. I took the disappointing donut back, hoping it was just packed there in error. I asked for a manager and the counter girl said the manager wasn't in, even though there were 4 employees. When a business, such as this donut shop, franchises, the public expects CONSISTENCY. I won't visit here again.

Whoever yall had cooking today needs to be fired. Everything we got was trash. Usually the kolaches and donuts are consistently good, today was not the case

Cheap breakfast but you get what you pay for. They did have monsters though so that was a plus

Delicious! They were still warm when I got them.
