I ordered the blueberry donut (unglazed) and cherry sprinkled donut. Together it only cost me $2.19 which is very reasonable to me. My only critique/ complaint about the donuts is that they were a little on the oily side. Note, I went at about an hour before close. I prefer donuts to not be that oily. I usually only see strawberry sprinkled donuts, so I was curious about the cherry flavor. Overall it was very good. There were also some good seating options despite it being a small...

Best donuts in San Marcos. And this staff knows how to get customers in and out. If I'm in a hurry, and I see a line at the drive through, I still stop cause I already know theyre fast here.

I like this place primarily as it is convenient to me (although they close too early for me which is inconvenient). I'm always a little disappointed with their cake doughnuts as they are not crisp on the outside like they should be for being freshly made. They also seem to lack a little in taste compared to other Shipley shops that I've frequented elsewhere. I don't know for certain what it is but they are noticeably different ie. = not as good.
