We lived abroad in Asia for 10+ years and found Taiwan Bowl on google as we were in the area looking for place for lunch. We didn't expect to find great Asian food down in San Marcos, but wow, we were very impressed. Truly Taiwanese comfort food. While not 100% what you'd find in a Taiwan street market, the authenticity was there.

Small place but super good food. The owner greeted us from the kitchen and visited a bit. It’s a mom & pop place with everything home cooked. We also got served a TON of food for our portions. 2 thumbs up!
