Happy eating.Coming from San Antonio to San Marcos and this is our 3rd year here, so glad we found this taco truck, the food is so good and the staff is so nice. They even come to your car so no getting out in the cold. Definitely recommend anyone to try this truck out. We got the Burrito ?, quesadilla and some tacos ALL 5 STARS and the green chili is so good NICE AND SPICY!!!!

Let me tell you that the algorithm isn’t doing humanity justice. How is this not one of the places that is automatically recommended on a Google search for tacos?I have been coming and getting tacos here for years. I live in Austin now and still make the drive. The OG’s will remember when they were near that H-E-B on E. Hopkins. It makes me so happy to see how they’ve grown and I highly suggest stopping by and Inhaling some tacos.Firstly, I want to say that their service is amazing and has not changed. They are kind, courteous and will go straight up to your car to take your order.- They take cash, Zelle or cashapp. This can be the teensiest inconvenience, but processing debit/credit cards has an extra fee.The price for the size and flavor is still reasonably priced. Yes, the prices have gone up, but understandably so.The menu has grown and offers various options now as well as agua frescas. Their horchata is certainly one of the best that I have had anywhere in the vicinity.The flavor is on POINT. The food is not just visually appealing, but it is so well seasoned and made to order.I highly recommend you visit this small, Latino owned business ✨✨✨ WOW

I think it’s very cool that they bring the menus and food to your car. There’s also a nice outdoor area to sit. I think I remember some of it being shaded but I can’t say for sure. Between my boyfriend and I, we had the elote amarillo, small quesadilla, bean and cheese taco, carne asada taco, and two little taquito tacos with cojita cheese. It was less than $25 for both of us which is really nice. My favorite thing was the elote; the red sauce they put on top is unlike any other hot sauce I’ve had in eloteVegetarian options: Elote, some other snacks, and some tacos are vegetarian

This is without a doubt the best food truck in town. Their food is so good. The only down side to this place is that the parking area is very small and I always get blocked in. It’s best to just park in front of Herbert’s taco hut and walk from there.

We had the bistec tacos and torta. The food is great! This is the closest thing we've found that tastes like tacos from the valley. The Aguas frescas are also delicious! We will be coming back again!
