it is common that you tip for the service you receive anywhere you dine, eating in or take out, but at the palm cafe in San Marcos, the waitresses take it upon themselves to tip themselves by keeping your change or giving you incorrect change and then acting like they have no clue they are doing this.
The food is good, but that behavior is not appropriate. I am not sure if this practice is approved by the owners, but I’m hoping they disapprove of this.
First we walked in. Nobody greet us. We set ourselves. We wait for somebody to clean the table. Then the waitress came on to our table and then no napkins, the food was good, when I ask for more tea she told me they didn't have any more tea. When I asked for hot sauce, they didn't have any hot sauce and her reson was because they were close by the time we got our food .All the staff was focusing on side work rather them costumer. . the sing uas still on so this orderly couple...read full review
I stood there for ten minutes and nobody ever came to clean out a table for us to sit very disappointed how many employees just stared at us!!!
