We had a last-minute getaway that turned out to be one of the best decisions ever, all thanks to Bend General Store! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed into an eclectic, super laid back atmosphere that instantly made us feel at ease. The vibe is just fantastic—perfectly relaxed but lively enough to keep the energy flowing.
We caught two incredible live bands during our stay in the overnight cabin , and the live music really set the tone for a fun and memorable evening. The food was absolutely on point—especially the catfish and loaded fries, which hit the spot and kept us coming back for more. The burgers looked amazing - but we were stuffed! Bret and all the staff are super friendly and attentive, making our experience even more enjoyable. We also loved the fun photo booth — great for capturing those spontaneous memories!
Plus, Bend General Store is conveniently close to Colorado Bend State Park and Flint Rock, making it an ideal spot for some off-the-beaten-path fishing adventures. Just remember to bring your fishing license! Overall, Bend General Store is a hidden gem that offers great food, live music, a cozy atmosphere, and a warm community vibe. If you're here, it's because you need to be here. This place is unexpected, unexplained, and unexcelled. They've got great live music, and even better burgers, and cabins if you want to stay for a weekend. It's the kind of place where the owner snaps a picture of someone coming out of the porta-potty and puts it on a T-shirt. And then other people decide they need to get in on the photo trend. If you're a little weird, you've probably already been here. I'm a lot weird, and I'll be back again, and again, and again.

My partner and I stopped into the Bend General Store just looking for a restroom, but we ended up staying for the live music, great food, and laid-back atmosphere. We tried the avocado fries (highly recommend!), and the whole vibe of the place made us feel right at home. Shelby and Karen, working behind the bar, were absolutely adorable. They were very friendly, welcoming, and full of personality. I’d 100% recommend it to anyone passing through!

The music is great the lights give it a good look and the food and drinks are amazing!
We waited about an hour for our food. Burgers were very good. Rest of food was ok. You have to pay for water. Band was fun. Workers were very nice. Edited after owner's reply: I'm a real person, not fake. We didn't have a dog. We weren't given an ice bucket with water. We weren't told it would be awhile for the food.

Not fake review, paid $80, have creditcard charges to prove it, For 2 adults and 2 kids and definitely no dog. Not sure who the owner is talking about but we sat outside since we had two toddler kids and again no dogs. Drop stars based on audacity of owner claiming fake review, not taking accountability for the experience and additional items mentioned by the owner that did not occur. As we were looking for a place to eat after a hike at the Colorado bend State Park.not to drink or listen to life music, or again even had a dog. The other review that is similar to mine is from my sister in law who experience the same terrible service. We waited about an hour for our food. Chicken nuggets were good, fries ok but not worth $15 or so dollars in addition to water and sodas which was extra. Burger was huge but taste was ok. You have to pay for water. Band was fun. Workers were very nice, but we did have to wait too long for our food.
