“We ate here 3 years ago for my daughter’s graduation. Today in August 2025 we went back . The bread was fabulous, service was friendly and quick. The food was amazing. We drove an hour and twenty minutes just to eat here again. As my daughter put it , the bread alone was worth it. - Yes my last name is Pellegrino but I have no affiliation with the owners. In fact we had to eat there because of the name. We will be back!”

“Got 5 meals to go…the order was 100% correct… the steaks were cooked perfectly… the person at the drive-thru was very nice and made sure our order was correct… the guys loved the peach cobbler and I enjoyed a slice of cheesecake!”

“My family and I have been going here for YEARS. Today after driving over an hour to visit my sons grave at the cemetery we came for our usual food. There was a VERY obnoxious lady who spoke so LOUD that everyone could hear her. For a "Family" restaurant the staff, even the manager would not say or do anything. She is one of their regulars and she is white. I am white as well but she was throwing racial slurs, talking about abortions, affairs and dead babies. There were very small children around. One family had to get up and walk out leaving food untouched. This lady, we will call her Kansas City Chiefs white trash, kept downing drink after drink requesting extra vodka. I learned all about her son and daughter and how disappointed she was. As soon as she got to the dead babies part I had to leave with my 10 year old. She was THAT loud. My friend told her maybe she should not be as loud to which she cussed her out and told her "HER PRESIDENT says it is ok". Sit at the bar next time lady. You triggered me and made me sad for your family. I have never done a review like this but since obviously management is too scared to say something I will. And Kansas City lady if you see this, you owe my son and I an apology. Thanks for ruining our trip to see my mom and sons grave.”

“Most of the food is good. The workers are nice. One time, when my family and I went, it took around 25 minutes for our food to come. When the lady with our food came she was on skates and she fell right next to our car and all our drinks were spilled. She was okay, though. Then the manager went back inside and made our order in 5 minutes, so I don't know why it took them 25 minutes to make I the first time. The atmosphere is also really boring, but the screens you order on are somewhat creative.”

“Just moved here from Gainesville. The food here was 100% better, but the little young Mexican dude at the drive thru kept giving me a look like he wanted to fight and being pretty rude? Not sure what the deal was with him since I'm a person who never gives fast food workers a hard time. Maby you should hide him in the back cooking or something. Definitely not a people person.”

“I was the angry lady in the drive-thru today. My hot water heater busted and flooded my entire house I was unable to finish my day at work and I could not feed my children as the house of flooded. I decided to go to McDonald's here in town which I never do because I've never really had a great experience with them. Today I spoke clearly as to what I wanted to order and again they messed up the entire order. I understand mistakes happen but literally it happens every time I come here. This time I didn't just deal with it. I was already having a really hard day and unfortunately I took it out on the McDonald's staff. They accommodated every need and aspect of what I wanted to order and fix everything for me. I just wanted to get on here and say I'm very sorry for my attitude and that I was so angry it wasn't really y'all's fault I've been going through a lot today and I just wanted an easy lunch that I didn't have to worry about. Thank you for putting up with me and fixing everything for me. I will come again”

“When I tell y’all this food is sent from heaven, I mean it! I found this place when I was looking for places to order on DoorDash. The reviews were so good that I decided to just go up there because everyone speaks so highly of the owners. Be prepared to wait about 15 minutes, but it’s worth every minute sat!! I got 2 of the brisket tacos and a brisket bbq potato. It’s freaking huge! I’m going to try to the brisket sandwich next time because a family that are regulars were up there waiting on their food and told me I gotta try it next! I will be back this weekend. 😆”

“This establishment was a nice find while we were in the Denton area. This place is operated by a husband and wife team who said they have been operating the restaurant for 30 years, which explains why their food was so delicious. We live 190 miles away, but definitely plan on going back. The atmosphere in the place was nice and relaxing.”

Mom had a breakfast burrito and ate every last bit! haha. we also had coffee, a cappuccino and a mocha, delicious. service was good, restaurant was clean. I liked the spoon wall, #spooniewarrior. Next time I'll treat my mom to another meal here!”
