My sons car broke down at this exit and while we waited for a tow truck company we were looking for something to eat that was more than fast food. It was 8:35 pm and they close and 9:00pm. We felt bad as we were pulling in the last car was pulling out but they agreed to seat us. We ordered quickly a pizza and salad. We adore the owner, love the food & enjoy the atmosphere! Best kept secret in Santo ( restaurant-wise anyway ? ). You won't be sorry - family friendly. Oh, you can see into his kitchen from the bar and it is always clean whenever I catch a peek.
We needed a place to stop, and this was the only place that sounded good. We were very pleasantly surprised. Amazing atmosphere, kind and attentive staff, lovely decor, delicious food, big portions, all around a fantastic place. As an added bonus, the menu was hilarious. We took longer than necessary to order because we were enjoying reading the menu too much. All in all, easily 5/5 stars.
