Food is very authentic Mexican with generous portions. Their rancheros sauce is first rate! Small facility and tables but clean. Drive through is popular, but all dirt and tight corners and no protection from rain. Overall, if you want authentic Mexican food it’s great! If you want fancy atmosphere and new digs, keep looking.

Maybe I'm spoiled being from inner San Antonio, but these tacos were hands down the WORST I've ever had. I had to spit out the first bite of the chorizo/egg taco I ate because it tasted horrible. Carne guisada was tough. I'll never come back here even if the food is free. They had cute waitresses, but we got La Joto. This place was referred to us by a coworker who railed Melanie back in high school.

For $30 and a tip,I got the smallest tacos in schertz and when I picked up my order after telling them I wanted a lot of salsa/hot sauce they told me it was in the bag and when I looked there was none.. so going back in and showing them that they had lied to me they only gave me six half filled salsas... Never will I go back to this place... Never will I refer this place to anyone but instead warn them to spend their money elsewhere..

Best taco ever! My friend's daughter was eating a taco from Melanie's a couple of days ago, and it looked so good. I was determined to try one. Bean and cheese with bacon. Delicious! I will definitely be returning. 😊

Quick service, quality food, and friendly staff. This restaurant is a staple for me and my wife on the weekends.
We didn't go inside. We only used the drive thru, and there were so many huge pot holes I had my concerns. The service & food were excellent.
