Service sucked, they claimed it was because of limited staff. We went through drive through and they hung up on us and did not answer for 5 minutes leaving us in the drive through. We then went to the window and waited another 5 minutes for them to finally open and answer us with rude behavior. When we got the food it was all thrown around in the bag not in its proper wrapping. They closed the window, we realized we never received our straws and knocked on the window again with no answer. There was only three cars in the service lanes and only us in the drive through. This is unacceptable, granted this is a sonic so I do not expect top quality service but this is not right.

I’m really bummed. I truly love Sonic, always have, I hype them up to everyone because their burgers are bomb and so are their chicken sandwiches.
I’m disappointed because the sonic I went to in Seguin just 2 weeks ago gave me a cheeseburger without the PATTY lol I called, the lady sounded bothered by my call so I just let it go. I came to this location in schertz and got my mom and I some chicken sandwiches. I asked for grilled, but we ended up with crispy. Not that big of a deal, however the sandwich sucks. The meat was just a thin piece of chicken in this heavily seasoned frying, no flavor, just bland as heck and my route 44 sweet tea, was not sweet. What is going on Sonic lol you’re killing me these last 2 visits.

This restaurant does not operate in alignment with Food Safety Standards as required of all food establishments under the Food Safe Handing Certification that MUST be maintained by operating managers.
My family was served 3 chicken sandwiches. When taking a few bites we noticed the texture was off. We observed about 70% of the each patty contained raw, uncooked chicken.
I immediately reported this to the restaurant staff, to which they apologetically remade the food. However, this does not ensure that the condiments used to prepare cooked food, had not been contaminated by handling the raw chicken we were served.
I contacted the email I was given by the Shift Lead and the number Sonic Customer Service provided. I have NOT heard back from either sources in response to the failure to properly temp out chicken items to 160°F which resulted in my family being served RAW chicken.
Do NOT visit this location. I have also reached out to the Schertz Health Inspector to ensure they are made aware of the violations.
This can make someone extremely ill, and I would have anticipated a much faster response time from the management team. This happened June 2, 5:45pm and it is now June 5, 9:55pm.

Do not dine at this location unless you like raw chicken! We were absolutely disgusted today when, after eating about half a chicken sandwich, we discovered it was pink and raw! And when we checked the other two sandwiches they were also raw. The shift lead had our food remade for us but we were honestly so turned off we didn’t eat anything afterwards. We will definitely be getting in touch with the USDA and the health department, this is a very serious matter. How many people were served raw chicken today I wonder?
