Pilot Travel Center is one of the most reliable gas stations for road trips. Every time we go on a trip around Texas, we make sure to stop at Pilot Travel Center because they usually have the cheapest gas price, plus their bathrooms are usually in good condition and they have a wide selection of food items for everyone in the family. Traveling back and forth between Houston and San Antonio, I regularly stop at Pilot Travel Center in Schulenburg, Texas to grab a bite. Schulenburg is the halfway point between the two, and has several dining options. But if you're in a hurry, get the Classic Double Steak Burger and a Sprite. For $8.96 you'll be back on the road full! (use self-check, ... cashiers are slow and kinda' chatty)

My first time in this store….There is a sign in front which reads “FRESH SAMPLES AVAILABLE”.But when you ask them they are saying we are not giving out free samples due to covid. “MANAGER’S ORDERS”.Well the manager should order you to take the sign down also… idk. I’m just saying…
