“This was the cleanest, friendliest, and tastiest Dairy Queen I have ever been to. I'm from the Dallas-Fort Worth area and their DQ's are horrible. I love DQ but hate going to them. They seem to be always dirty with lazy employees. I was impressed and pleasantly surprised with this location. We stopped for a treat during our road trip back home from the TX coastline and I am so glad we did! Kudos to all the staff at this location! From the cashier to the ice cream handlers to the cooks in the back...great job!“
“Pilot Travel Center is one of the most reliable gas stations for road trips. Every time we go on a trip around Texas, we make sure to stop at Pilot Travel Center because they usually have the cheapest gas price, plus their bathrooms are usually in good condition and they have a wide selection of food items for everyone in the family. This particular location is conveniently located right halfway between San Antonio and Houston. They have a Taco Bell location attached to their main building, but also offer other already prepared meal options. The bathrooms are located on the right side of the building. The women's bathrooms does not have as many stalls as compared to other Pilot Travel Center locations so keep that in mind if you are stopping here during a busy time. When you visit make sure to sign up for their rewards points so you can save on gas and other items. They also offer a 10% military discount on items you purchase inside their store.“
“It truly deserves 5 stars! When you go to eat at a local fast food restaurant, what do you expect? Usually my standards aren't very high for getting a quick cheap bite from a chain fast food place around here. However , this subway has blown me away! I regularly DON'T go out of my way to write a Yelp review, but this subway is exceptional! First of all, the atmosphere of the restaurant is modern and upbeat. It is super clean/well maintained and I feel comfortable coming in to enjoy my meal. At this location, the service is always consistent, friendly, and fast! Most of the time I order from the subway app, and drop in to pick up my sub. When I get there, the sub is ready. Because I am a regular, they recognize my order and know immediately I am there for pickup ! As for the food, it's awesome. The ingredients are fresh, and the sub is made exactly how I specify! The girls who work here pay attention to detail and the sub is put together neatly. They have exceeded my expectations and gone above and beyond. I look forward to eating here! The girls who work here deserve a raise. I definitely recommend this subway.“
“Labor day traffic on I10 heading back to Houston from Austin - OH MY. What is normally a 2.5 hour drive took us 4.5. There were more slow drivers in the left lane than EVER. We were passing on the right every chance we got but because of that and the number of folks that would take an exit to try and get ahead simply caused the traffic to stop. We were pleasantly surprised with the service, price AND quality of the sandwiches we ordered. Only one mistake (mine was NO PEPPERS) but thankfully my husband loves banana peppers so we shared :) It turned out to be the best meal we had all weekend!!!“
“OK Dairy Queen food is DQ food. I had tacos and actually it was apparent that they care about presentation and quality. Tacos were properly prepared and properly stuffed with the correct materials, lettuce, tomatoes and cheese. Many DQs skimp on something while they get crazy with lettuce. This DQ is fair with the quality and quantity.Most important part of this visit. The lady that I took my order and I dealt with at the window. She was a absolute sweetheart. All you had to do was look at her and you break out in smiles. I didn't catch her name but she's a older black woman. She was very friendly and literally the type of person you hope to come across when you are tired and hungry at a drive thru. She was just a delight to deal with. I think I went through the drive thru on Thursday afternoon around 4 to 5pm. If it wasn't Thursday it was Wednesday but I am almost sure it was Thursday Sept 7.To the owner of this DQ. Please keep this lady around. She's a absolute gift to your store. Her beautiful smile and her beautiful kindness and presence are very rare these days. She definitely needs to be compensated for the regular customers you will have. She's one of those employees that is the main reason people end up patronizing a business. I had a part time job as a waitress and a lady that I worked the night shift with was literally the reason why 80% of the customers came in at night. People like that are a rare type of employee nowadays and when you get that employee absolutely make sure you make it clear that you recognize their contributions to the business. I wished I remembered that woman's name but I can tell you that she was the smartest dressed DQ employee I've ever seen before. Her uniform was so perfectly arranged on herself that she literally looked better dressed than everyone else even though there was no difference in uniforms. She just figured out a way to make herself look better and put more pride in her uniform. She's definitely a keeper and definitely the reason I will come back when I am in that part of the world.Thank you for making me smile when I really was tired and not feeling well. I did leave feeling more positive about things when I finished eating in my car in your parking lot lol. Thank you. And the ice cream cone was Delish!!!! That should be a clue to her which customer I am. I had a little black and white doggie with me and a car full of traveling needs. Thank you sweet lady!“
“That was one of the best Wendy's I can ever go to the truck stop the people the experience the love the caring the opening welcome hands from the beginning to the end I should have stayed there much longer than what I have it was a small town but the people made the town it was a very great day and a good morning that I had their blessed overall and will be back again I even dance prayed song cry enjoyed myself really really really really really well I will definitely recommend somebody going over there good cashiers Chelsea was the best employee there“
“You can always depend on McDonald's when traveling. The rest rooms were in the connected convenience store center and were new and clean. I was very impressed that one of the staff members actually watched my order until I came back from rest room yo make sure I got it. Recommend this restaurant.“
“The thing that impressed me most about WhataBurger, is their level of sanitation and cleanliness. They were slammed with many customers. And yet their kitchen was clean, pristine, as though the store had just opened for the day. And my order was ready within 5 minutes! The crew should be highly commended for running such a professional atmosphere.“
