Horrible food. Rubbery Shrimp. The red fish tasted like tilapia or worse. Sauces were flavorless. It felt like being on one of those shows where they try to save an old restaurant except in the before part. The salad was decent.

Of all the restaurants that were open when I first moved to the Clear Lake area more than forty years ago, this is the only one that is still open. AND THERE’S A REASON FOR THAT. Not once have we ever been there when the congenial owner wasn’t there to welcome us back, and gladly acquiesce when asked to personally prepare our favorite dishes. And the impeccably maintained grounds are reminiscent of a fine Italian Manor, and far and away the best view on the lake. Why this place doesn’t have a long line at the door is a mystery, but we will continue to do our part to make it happen. A true gem!

Was visiting the area from out of town. Made a reservation here for a birthday celebration. This place has a lot of potential, but our experience was not a good one. The food wasn't bad, I give it a B-. The restaurant itself was kind of run down looking, but the water view was nice. The service was poor. Our server I think was trying to be witty, but her sarcasm was borderline disrespectful. By the end of the meal we really just wanted to get out of there.
