We’ve been eating there for years . The whole place treats us like family . Juan along with the rest of the crew are one of a kind people . Have never felt like just a customer. We took our family and friends there tonight before prom . And they like always made my family feel special . Thank you guys so much for taking care of us every time we come in and especially tonight as we were making lifetime memories with our family .

El Jacalito is a local Tex-Mex restaurant known for its friendly service and consistent, delicious food. The staff is attentive and has been working there for many years. The menu offers a variety of options, all served quickly and fresh. Vegetarian choices are available. The restaurant's specialties include homemade verde sauce, refried beans with the right amount of lard, and soft rice. Prices are reasonable, and there is plenty of parking. Customers appreciate the good quality of the food they have enjoyed over the years, with some noting that modifications like substituting shredded cheese for guacamole and chopped tomatoes for jalapenos are possible to suit preferences. Occasionally, there have been issues with being charged for items that were previously complimentary, causing some reconsideration of regular visits. The beef fajita lunch is a popular choice, though recent experiences have included overcooked and dry beef fajitas, which customers hope will improve. Overall, El Jacalito remains a good spot for a nostalgic Tex-Mex meal that many frequent regularly.
