Went Friday sat in for gumbo which was over salty and to 45 minutes to make it to the table in a empty restaurant. Also ordered a few things to go which was a Xl Smack pack with a lobster tail, to my surprise when I make it to my destination there was no lobster tail on the plate at all yes a total rip off. 110 bucks down the drain you can bet your bottom dollars they won’t get another coin from me.
We have lived in The Woodlands area for 10 years (original South Louisiana natives) and have been on a search for a great authentic fried shrimp poboy…. We have found it at Crawfish Cafe!!! Made with popcorn shrimp and Leidenheimer bread - IYKYK. Closest thing (and the best) to what we grew up with. Service was great too - thanks Cris for an enjoyable experience. Mother’s Day was our first try. The host was so attentive and not much of a wait.
We ordered a peach margarita yum! And a mai tai! Drinks were on point.
For starters we ordered the crawfish cheese bread that our waitress Isabella suggested and it was a total hit! I could have eaten the whole thing by myself, it was so good.
Their choice of seasonings is just amazing and mouthwatering. Crawfish were juicy, shrimp were perfectly cooked, and good portions.
