“Willie's Place came as a recommendation from a couple of guys I work with. As luck would have it my wife & I found it by accident as we were driving around town. After an appointment this afternoon I looked up Barbecue Restaurants Near Me on Yelp! and Willie's Place Ranked top of the list. It's a rather small place & looks a little weathered on the outside, enough so, that my Thai wife gave me that "look" as we pulled up. I told her that places like this are the best kept secrets in the U.S. When you walk in you are immediately overwhelmed by the wonderful smell of smoked brisket. The menu is on the wall and there are more hamburgers available than you probably thought possible. Or at least more than I thought possible. Next time I go back I'm going to close my eyes & just point to one. And the BBQ. My wife had the Big Rib Plate & I had the Three Meat Plate (ribs, chopped brisket & sausage). We both had a side of potato salad & baked beans. There was absolutely; nothing we could complain about. The baked beans were piping hot, the potato salad was delicious & the ribs...the ribs practically fell off the bone. THAT tender. The chopped brisket & sausage was delicious as well & I think my preference may lie with the brisket. At the time I ordered the brisket the gentleman taking my order (Willy himself? I should have asked) informed me that the only brisket they had at the moment was chopped as the sliced brisket was being smoked. After our plates came out he brought out a few slices of brisket that my wife & I shared. We thought that was pretty nice. While Willie's Place is small it is warm & down home comfortable. I can't remember if they have bottled beer or not but they do have Coke products & iced tea. One last thing: our two plates + two sides + two sweet teas (free refills) cost us $40.00. My plate alone was $20.00 but it came with plenty on the plate. Chopped brisket, sausage, ribs, a bowl of baked beans, potato salad, a slice of Texas Toast & a side of BBQ sauce. It was worth it. All of it. And the wife was happy too. Long review. Great food. We'll be back. One last thing: Best barbecue we've had since we moved to Wichita Falls.”

“This Greek Mediterranean cafe is has good food at affordable price. The ambiance of the place is relaxing and delightful. Additionally, the single server around 3 PM was very thoughtful filling my Greek Frappuccino when it was half empty. Because my friend gave me left over beef gyro prior, I wanted to try other dishes. The mousaka dish was easy to cut and enjoy per bite. I might come back to try other offers, yet I will admit not suggesting the baklava. It had too much honey syrup and caused the dessert to soak.”

“If you're looking for great Chinese food in Wichita Falls, this is the place! I moved here two years ago and have been on the hunt for some great Chinese food. Unfortunately most places have come up short, but this place is on a different level. While the dining in experience is lacking it makes up for it with amazing food.I'm not 100% in the know with their hours and menu but on certain days they serve Vietnamese food and other days they serve Chinese food. My first time ordering I had a fried crunchy roll, pork fried rice, and egg rolls. All of this and at a very affordable price with generous portions! We will be back!”

“4-19-24. Back again 1 year later and they still have the best steaks in town. They are so good when my wife asked for steak sauce the server said ok but taste it first? She was right!! It didn't need it!!!! Don't miss out! I know steak and this restaurant does too! Tender, juicy and well seasoned! They open after 5. You will need to get there early to get your share of their Golden ?. I will visit the next time I am in town.”

“Went in for lunch last week, and we had the mango bbq wings and jerk chicken eggrolls as an appetizer. Both were AMAZING! We had the spicy jerk chicken with the macaroni, Moz potatoes, and sauteed cabbage as our entrees, and this is the best carribean food I've ever experienced. The tropical fruit drink, which was mango and guava, I believe, was delicious as well. I will definitely frequent this place from now on!”

“I've been looking for some great Chinese food ever since I moved to Wichita falls. Sadly most places I've tried have not yet hit the mark, this place change that. So far this is my only visit but it will not be my last. I do have to say that the portions are really good in fact they might be too big for some people. I had the pork fried rice with an egg roll and an order of egg drop soup. They had plenty of options on the menu to choose from. The actual restaurant is somewhat small so if you're planning on dining in there's only really about four tables in the restaurant. This will definitely be on my regular list.”

“I've tried almost every sandwich on the menu and I haven't found any options I haven't loved (some of my favorites include the Beef Eater, Greek, and Pomodoro). The homemade soups are also amazing, especially the red pepper and corn chowder. Every meal comes with a small cookie surprise (blueberry, chocolate chip, white chocolate, or sugar) and either homemade chips or soup. Salads are really good. Also can't forget the pickle on the side (extra in my case).”

“Delicious Texas style BBQ. This place could easily be passed by and missed as it’s located in downtown Wichita Falls around a few abandoned/run down businesses. Once inside you’ll be warmly greeted and you’ll get to order at the counter. Family style seating in a small and clean dining area. I tried the two meat plate with the pork burnt ends and brisket. The burnt ends are a bit fatty as they are pork belly pieces but they were full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The brisket was perfectly moist and full of flavor as well. The sides weren’t anything out of the ordinary but were pretty tasty as well. I was in town two years ago and was bummed I wasn’t able to make it out to this spot but I’m so glad I had the chance to try it out on this visit.”

“I’m typing this from the parking lot… BEST BURRITO EVER! “Julian’s Burrito” I’ve been all over Texas, New Mexico, Southern California… dam. Giant Homemade flour tortillas wrapped around like a 2lb burrito and it is cheap for all that it is. I didn’t even use the salsa but my wife said it was good. Definitely coming back when I’m in the area. The service was fast and friendly as well.”
