I was looking for something different to try for dinner and I definitely found it. It ended up being a Havana Nights kind of night. I didn't know how I felt at first but by the time I left I realized I enjoyed the event. The nachos and hotdogs were really good. There was a raffle, which actually had really good prizes, a free shot of tequila and cigar bar with games outside. The owner cooked for the night and came out to meet the customers. I will definitely be back to check out their regular menu.

My husband and I had been hearing good things about this restaurant and after stopping in last night, they were certainly all true! It was a delightful, tasty meal from start to finish! The sandwiches were enough for two, the cocktail menu was generous and the desserts are all homemade. A tasty and heart warming experience when we met the entire family, who are true hard working entrepreneurs with a dream. Let's support these folks and enjoy a great meal right in the heart of Sherman.

Oh my GOODNESS. I don’t think I’ve ever had Cuban, this was amazing. From the cafe con leche to the yuca, the chicken was bursting with flavor, and the beans and rice! Muy rico!!! I will definitely be back here!

Great service, the waitress helped us decide what we might enjoy since this was our first visit to Mariposa. She was very helpful & informative. Glad we finally decided to try it. Randomly picked this place while shopping in town, turned out to be the best decision ever. This place has some of the nicest cuisine I've ever experienced. It's filling without being incredibly heavy, and with all the flavor to boot. Has the best flan I have ever had in my life. The atmosphere is amazing, and the service was outstanding. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone, but especially those who like to adventure out and try more unique and flavorful experiences.

As soon as I walked in it felt like I was entering a different world. Beautiful aesthetics, lively salsa music, staff is very friendly and the food is fenomenal. I could tell the meal was fresh and I didn't have to wait too long. I'll be coming by at least once a week. My only regret is that I didn't know about this place sooner. Absolutely delicious! ?
