After checking out The Shiner Brewery,we were looking for a place to have an early Saturday lunch. The first place we Googled was closed, the 2nd place was Fridays but, it's not the TFIF restaurant, it's Fridays Fried Chicken - ugh. We ended up at La Terraza de Jalisco, the only place which was opened and looked half way decent. So, Mexican food it is. This place is a bit unusual for being Mexican. Pictured here is the Carne Asada plate covered with Green Beans. I've never seen this before. The Green Beans were overcooked & limp so I scrapped most of them off. It also appeared Velveeta Cheese was used for the Club Sandwich my girlfriend ordered. Perhaps this is Southern take on classic meals. The service was good, beer was served cold and included chilled glasses which I always think is a plus. Ambiance is clean, casual and with ample seating indoors only however there is a drive-thru is you want your food to go. While this restaurant is good, I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way but, it was one of the few which was opened mid-morning on a Saturday. As always - Eat in Good Health.
First time here and we came for breakfast. I had the Migas La Mexicana while the Mrs. Had the bacon and egg plate. Both were very good and large portions.Atmosphere is nice and clean and the waitress, while busy busy, kept up with asking how we’re doing. Will come back to try lunch and dinner plates.

The food was standard Mexican food which was really good but I gave 4 stars because the portions were a bit small for the price. Our waitress was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The atmosphere gets a 3 from me and that's because their septic line had backed up and you could smell the raw sewage throughout the restaurant.Parking: They have plenty of spots for people to park the only thing is the lines are worn out and faded for almost every spot.Kid-friendliness: They had 4 different options for kids to eat and my son chose the chicken nuggets. Which were just the Tyson Dino nuggets fried and French fries.Wheelchair accessibility: They have I believe only 2 handicap parking spots maybe 3 and the wheel chair accessibility might be a bit on the challenging side for some as parts on the ramp from the lot to the side walk is a bit rough. They also aren't very clearly marked as the paint on the ground was very worn out and faded

Worst Telmex ever! Dirty parking lot, dirty tables, stinky air as you stand next to bathrooms as you enter the place. Nothing more appetizing than a fresh flushed toilet.
The Tortilla soup and the Chimmy Changa were delicious. Service was great!

Service was a tad slower than what I expected since it was just 4 in our party, and we were the only ones in there. From the time we sat down until someone acknowledged our existence was about 10 mins, but the food was awesome. I'm definitely going back
