Holy cow! stopped today for lunch, and it was phenomenal!! The brisket sandwich was so good. But can I take a second to revel in the deliciousness of the dill pickles. They were addicting. I will definitely be back!
Finally got to try it today! Got a small jalapeno sweet corn, mac and cheese, brisket baked potato, and the banana pudding. Tried a little bit of everything and it was delicious. The staff and owners were very friendly and worked hard to get your orders quickly for you. I got there right at noon. Probably 10 min from time I ordered to time I walked out. Thanks so much 🥰
Made it out to Bubby's this weekend and man this will need to become more of a regular thing! The brisket was moist, delicious cooked just right with a solid but but not overpowering smoke. The ribs the same way with the habanero honey sauce. A little sweet, a little spicy just about fall off the bone but still firm enough to not fall apart (perfect). Bubby's BBQ is a family-owned restaurant serving delicious Texas barbecue. The food is absolutely worth every penny and everything is delicious, including the real Texas brisket described as juicy, flavorful, and tender. The chopped sandwich is amazing. Sides receive a standing ovation, with specific praise for the Jalapeño cream corn and the banana pudding, which is called an understatement of deliciousness and a needed completion to any order. The restaurant is always clean. Service is fantastic, with staff described as very friendly, enthusiastic, extremely friendly, pleasant, kind, and respectful. They are excellent at customer service. The business is relatively new but already sells out of barbecue before days end, so it is highly recommended to get there early. A stoplight in the window signals availability: green means plenty, yellow means hurry, and red means try again the next day. It is considered one of the best barbecue places, soon to be on the barbecue map for Central Texas.
