“Staff greeted us with an open door and a cheerful smile. It was our first time there. This place is fairly new and was very clean inside and outside. What I liked was they had the weekly cookies on display for us to choose. In the background were three other staff members making the yummy cookies.“

The only bad thing is that the day I went they only had 5 flavors of cookies and the ones my daughter had seen in photos didn't have them. “Stopped in here a few years back while in El Paso and never got around to writing a review. We tried a variety of pastries from this spot (sorry but I couldn't pronounce it if I tried) and they were all fantastic. Its a cute little spot with some employees who I would guess were Mexican. Their level of English was fairly low but we wanted to try something very authentic to the area and this looked like it was so we were happy to work with some language barrier issues for some fantastic sweets to enjoy with some coffee. I would absolutely for certain come back here next time I'm in the area.“

“Always drive by but totally forget it’s available. I’ve been here maybe 3xs. But each time I walk out with snacks, bread, bread and more bread! At good prices. We do need to make sure you check the dates some are about to expire. But can also freeze the products for later use.“

“I got a trensa de chocolate and a pan blanco. They were good. I had the Mexican pastry with my coffee. The pan blanco is perfect for menudo. It's a tiny bakery but it is good. I will take pictures next time. I recommend this bakery. It is hidden in the neighborhood but worth it.“

“The "masa" is the bomb! I do wish they had a lil bit of more filling but the flavors are good. The rojo con pollo, are the most popular, so good. the pollo con chille Verde are my favorite. the chille con queso are good but it seems like they use a cheddar mix with a white cheese. I wished they used the a queso fresco cheese. Still the best tamales in EP.“

“Made my wedding cakes in 1972 and I always bought cakes throughout the year for birthdays and holidays. They were a little cottage in the lower valley. Don’t know if they are still in that location. They make the most delicious cake and they’re masters of cake decorating. Greggerson’s is one place I miss now that I live in California.“

“Julie and I just stopped in on an impromptu "we're hungry" Saturday eastside drive. It was our first time here. We sampled the Beef Empanadas, tostones and of course a cubano. We were very pleased with the service and the food. The bread for the sammich was perfect. The pork was perfectly seasoned. The mojo and tostones on point. and they have a salsa verde that was delish. MAKE SURE TO GET YOURSELF A COCO RICO to wash it all down. 👍🏼👍🏼 and 5 ⭐'s. We will be back to try some of the other dishes soon“

The only problem was that even do he was friendly when a person requested water and he was ok to provided that , he grabbed a tumbler across the counter without proper sanitize that tumbler or at least making an effort to at least rinse it with water he just went straight and fill it up from fountain Sodas dispenser .. yikes … the tumbler was not even the one you drink from the lid but you drink straight up from the tumbler .. 🤢 maybe before Covid times were less of a big deal but know is not. I explained that to the team member to his answer well it was a few inches down it not really touched much …“

“Yesterday I ordered my king's cake at this bakery on the recommendation of my sister. I truly never imagined it would be so rich. My bagel was delicious, super soft and the filling was delicious. I will definitely be back every year for my bagel. Mr. Miguel was super friendly and attentive.“

- WiFi password is at the bottom of the receipt so keep that handy.

- Place needs more food options to be a full 5-star study spot for me.

- Drinks are also more on the pricier side for the size.

- In general I’m happy this place is available on the east side.

- Parking situation is not that great considering all the businesses serving their clients within that vicinity so get there before rush hour or you’ll be walking about a block or two from where you parked. That’s not a fault of the cafe but rather the location.

“Great place to get fresh corn tortillas just like in Juarez. They make them daily just behind the counter just like in Mexico. If you go early, you can actually see them rolling out of the machine. It doesn't get fresher than that!!They also have flour tortillas, tamales, meat rolled tacos that are ready to be fried, and the freshest chicharrones in town, still warm when they give them to you!“

“Arturo’s cake shop saved my birthday party after an unfortunate date mixup at another cake shop. I was panicking and needing a birthday cake in less than an hour. I called them and told about my situation and that I need a Hawaiian cake and they had it ready for me in 15 minutes with my name and everything.
