“Took a LYFT from the truck stop up the road to watch the Super Bowl, sort of hidden in a strip mall but that makes it a really good out of the way spot the beers were cold and the food was good, nice portions and reasonable prices. Bar maids were easy on the eyes but not much on conversation even though it was only a third capacity. Multiple TV's going but the volume was a bit loud for me. I will definitely visit again when in el Paso and want a cold beer with my dinner“

Whether it’s a slow afternoon or a packed weekend night, the vibe is always on point—laid-back, lively, and just cool as hell. The atmosphere blends a ton of energy with a chill, classy feel that works for anything from date night to a casual hang. “First thing I look for is cleanliness, dust on furniture and objects inside. If I see none I eat more relaxed, if I see excessive dust I walk out. ASAP. Next I look at the silverware, water spots, glasses with stains, Iam out of there. If I stay to eat , Iam looking for taste. If it has that special taste , Iam sold. My own cooking is always over spiced, over salted, to rich etc etc. The only ways you get around this is to cook with love and patience, it’s a passion. When you find this you have hit gold. “Wonderful tea shop I wish I'd have found earlier. Owner is very nice and helpful in making a decision on what to order. I ordered 2 milk boba teas. One oolong with brown sugar boba and one jasmine with white boba ( or maybe it's called crystal- suggested by owner). They were both delicious. Tea taste was dominant in both and tea tasted fresh. Upon ordering owner checked to see if she had fresh tea and she did. That small action is a big plus in my book. I will be a regular. Thank you!!!“

“Big fan of this place, and their staff. I'm pretty sensitive to gluten and REALLY appreciate how seriously they take gluten-free menu options.

I'm usually a takeout person, but tonight we decided to eat dinner at the bar, and it was a great choice. Jacobo was an excellent bartender and server, and the dragon margarita was extremely impressive. We spent some time discussing upcoming birthdays with him, and he made ours extra special by helping us celebrate with a very cute gluten-free dessert.

I'm not sure there's enough money in the world for me to have to talk to people for a living, but most of them aren't as personable as this young bartender.“

I left my purse on the chair & didn’t realize until I was home, I called to see if it was still there on my way over. A young lady immediately said let me ask them, in a minute she comes back and says no they didn’t find a purse but didn’t let me explain where and put me on hold, the call failed and I called back and a manager picked up and explained to her I was on the phone waiting to explain where and she more experienced asked where I was sitting exactly and looked and came back to ask me a couple questions about how my purse looked just to make sure it was mine. I just want to recognize how she handled it all, she was great & I appreciate it.“

“I’m not sure why there is a recent bad review on google, but please take those with a grain of salt. Sofia’s has been our go-to for YEARS, and I am not even a San Elizario native. Sofia is always here and when you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm smile and welcome from her, her daughter Nancy, and the comforting home-town atmosphere. I always feel like I’m inside a huge family dining room. My go-to is the Plato Mexicana and it never disappoints. Their burritos, flautas, burgers, enchiladas, and breakfast items are also really good. These are just our normal orders but everything is phenomenal. Love that they also bring you chips and salsa with a cup of whatever caldo they have that day (menudo, Fideo, posole, etc.). Will forever be loyal customers here, and you won’t regret if you are too.“

My favorite monthly energy drink is the Spicy Sandia Surge and my favorite sandwich is the pretzel melt. They have excellent customer service and great vibes.“
