“The staff was warm and welcoming, and the margaritas at the bar were excellent. Special recognition to the bartender who crafted a truly proper Sidecar for my husband. That said, the wait for our table was unexpectedly long—over an hour—despite the restaurant being far from full and unusually quiet for a Saturday night. It seemed they may have been short-staffed.
The hatch chile cream soup was, as always, outstanding. Unfortunately, our rare ribeye and brisket arrived overcooked and dry, but the team addressed the issue quickly and professionally. Once everything was corrected, our large party all enjoyed their meals, including the ribeye tacos, grilled salmon, steakburger, and the green chile pasta with shrimp. We also loved the delicious coleslaw and beans.“

“We love Ruth's Chris. This was our first time in El Paso. Food was wonderful as usual. The menu seems to have changed with fewer veggie options. We always really enjoyed the corn dish. The chopped salad is always wonderful as was the lobster mac & cheese and the sweet potato casserole. Love Ruth's Chris!“

“Never have I left a review for any restaurant, this place actually lives up to the good reviews, food was out impressively quick even though it was crazy busy for lunch. I got my meal less than two minutes after I got my chips. Waitress was very attentive. Pricing wasn't bad either 14.50$ for this. Will be going again with others“

“We went to celebrate my daughter graduating from UTEP. The service was peak and the pomegranate margaritas on the rocks were amazing. 😍 I took mine above the house tequila and added Patrón. 👍🏽I ordered chicken flautas, beans and rice. The rice! Better than any rice I've had when it is added to en entré. Most rice is run of the mill but this was way more flavorful. I highly recommend this place. If I'm ever in El Paso again I will be sure to stop here for my Mexican food fix.“

“I left a bit disappointed during my recent visit to one of my favorite restaurants. I ordered the $18 hamburger which was supposed to come with a half order of fries, but the portion I received looked closer to 1/8 of a serving, and the patty was super well done almost charrred. .To be clear, I did bring this to the server’s attention, and the plate pictured was indeed mine. While I truly enjoy this restaurant and often recommend it, I believe it’s important to be consistent and fair in my reviews.“

“Big fan of this place, and their staff. I'm pretty sensitive to gluten and REALLY appreciate how seriously they take gluten-free menu options.
I'm usually a takeout person, but tonight we decided to eat dinner at the bar, and it was a great choice. Jacobo was an excellent bartender and server, and the dragon margarita was extremely impressive. We spent some time discussing upcoming birthdays with him, and he made ours extra special by helping us celebrate with a very cute gluten-free dessert.
I'm not sure there's enough money in the world for me to have to talk to people for a living, but most of them aren't as personable as this young bartender.“

“One of our go-to's when we want GOOD Mexican food. I got the beef Gorditas and they were very tasty. (I usually get Machaca) Husband got his standby--cheese enchiladas with green. We've been coming here over 20 years and the staff recognize us and ask about the family. We feel at home here.“

“Ordered stuffed flounder with broccoli. Flounder was over cooked, broccoli was over cooked, turned into a puree using a fork. fork and knife were stained and dirty. told manager on duty, she never returned with clean utensils. food was served but still did not have any clean utensils. place was very dirty. Will never eat there again.“

My family of 6 stopped in for lunch and we loved the myriad of available fresh salsas. my only complaint is I saw the cooks on the make-line handling their cellphones. If you order a drink, the ice isn’t filtered so it will change the taste of the tea. Tell them no ice.“
