“Excellent casually elegant winery and bistro in the Las Cruces/Mesilla area.Top notch service and delicious food at super reasonable prices. Most entrees on the menu are under $20 and generously portioned. And who knew New Mexico had tasty wine!We had the pot roast with carrots and Yukon mashed ($18) And the spicy Mongolian beef ($18)The pot roast was super tender and flavorful and the Mongolian beef seasoned and cooked perfectly with just the right amount of heat.Add in a glass of the sangio-cab and the whole meal was a very affordable $41 plus a 25% tip.The outside dining area offers a pleasant dining experience.A real gem if you're in the Las Cruces area. It's ideal for any kind of gathering. Dressed up and date night, business casual, family gathering or friends in jeans and a hoodie.“

“A delightful and modest restaurant. The service was satisfactory, and the breakfast burrito was exceptionally delectable. I highly recommend trying their green chilies. I had my breakfast burrito "wet" with green sauce, and it was truly remarkable.“

“The Huevos Rancheros and Chile Relleno were some of the best we’ve ever eaten! We enjoy traveling New Mexico for the unique style of flavors of Mexican food only found in this state! The red and green sauces were the authentic deep flavors and the salsa is zappy but flavorful. Our waitress, Leslie encouraged us to try the Calabacitas and tasty whole Borracho Beans? Both were beyond any we’ve eaten previously. Leslie gave us excellent service and was very friendly. The ambience is dated authentic adobe with bright colors and mural paintings. We highly recommend La Nuevo Casita Cafe!“

“This place is great huge selection. Very tasty food freshly made. The owner is delightful and super helpful and friendly. I especially love that they have many vegetarian and vegan options on the menu, which is pretty unusual for a Mexican restaurant in Las Cruces, this places is very accommodating. They do not use lard in their beans and offer lots of choices. It’s obvious that they take pride as the food is quality. We sat out on the patio. It was nicely, shaded, clean, and comfortable. Usually, we get takeout or delivery from here, but today we ate in for the first time and now I know I will be eating here more often. We loved everything. Also the welcome soup is so tasty, which is included with your meal. They had two kinds of soups Fideo with beans and also a lentil soup, vegan. The homemade salsa is delicious. We also asked for and tried their homemade habanero salsa for lots of extra heat and it was perfect. If you love Mexican food and also have any Vegetarian, vegan or gluten free friends or family, this is your absolutely best option for Mexican food in Las Cruces as they have something for everyone and the food will satisfy the carnivores and vegans. Prices are very reasonable too.Vegetarian options: There are many vegan vegetarian options to choose from, I’ve worked my way through many of the vegetarian vegan options and have been very happy with everything I’ve had here.Dietary restrictions: The owner is very knowledgeable about vegan vegetarian and gluten-free and will happily accommodate your needs. Lots of options on the menu clearly labeled.“

“Service was great, but I did not care for the vegan bowl very much. The pistachio oat milk latte was delicious as was the veggie sausage. The veggie sausage with a tofu scramble and toast would have been a great option. I’m just personally fatigued of bowls being the only option that restaurants have for vegans not putting that all on this very nice place.“

“This is our first time going to this place. I was not a bad experience. The only thing we didn't like was that it was a but windy that day and we sat outside, you could feel the dust. So we moved inside. Our server was good. He made sure to ask every few minutes how everyone was doing. Food was great. Big portion size, so I was not able to finish my plate. If you've never gone to this place, you should go. Oh and if you have fur babies (dog), they allow dogs inside in back patio.Parking: Great food.“

“The food is always superb here. Service is always good and the place is very busy because it is one of the best restaurants, in Las Cruces! That doesn’t mean you have to wait around generally because it’s a large restaurant they take great pride in their restaurant and the places spotless, and the building and grounds are kept in terrific condition“

“I don't understand why they can't make regular rice for an option. That Cinnamon rice they have is gross. Why can't they switch out a lamb kabob for another chicken kabob? Why are they so chinsy with the Kalamata olives? They are not flexible at all!! Everything is No!!The food is good, though. The Baba Ganoush is delicious. The Greek salad dressing is too tart, and again, only two Olives? The restaurant decor and service is depressing ?“

“The best restaurant in Las Cruces. Food is always amazingly good, and they seem to truly care about their quality. I go at least 4 times a month for the last 6.5 years. I pray this wonderful place remains forever. All the other restaurants have always been hit or miss for me and my friends. But Miguel's never fails.“
“Found the Spotted Dog Brewery after a google search…. Happy we looked and found it. Great beer selection, burgers were awesome… pay extra to get the garlic fries. Everyone working there were super friendly and helpful… not sure if we’ll ever be back in the area, but will make sure we recommend to everyone we know that will be.“

“Icebox on N. Main is consistently superb! The pizza is one of the best in town. The mushroom bites are just fantastic! The first time my group ordered them I was expecting something battered and fried and thought I might have one or two. What came was a mountain of gently sautéed and exquisitely seasoned mushrooms. No batter.“

I had eggs and bacon and the eggs were perfect and the bacon crisp and the best potatoes ever. I will definitely be back again. Very nice server as well.“

“This was our first visit. They were pretty busy. Let me start out saying, this is not fast food and it's not cheap. What it is, fantastic service, awesome food and not pricey enough to cause shock! Stephan gave excellent service and never let my coffee cup go dry. The manager even checked in on us. If I were one to offer 5 stars, this would be the first to get it! Check them out.“

“I tried Rudy's while in Las Cruces. I got the chopped bbq, it was sauced nicely, and had good flavor, a little more char or burnt ends would be good. The bean salad wasn't what I was expecting from a bbq place, it looked like a 4 bean salad from a Winn Dixie. The tater salad was decent though. I did order a sweet tea but that wasn't with the order, I'm guessing the door Dasher forgot that. The sauce was pleasantly sweet with tang.“

“McDonald's burger and fries is as much as what you pay here. If you want a satisfying, restaurant-quality alternative to any of the fast food places, then upgrade your life for the same price at Mariachi's. I've had many dishes here and haven't had a bad meal yet. Every city needs a place like this where the quality is great and the prices are reasonable.“

“We were passing through town, stayed at a local hotel and woke up looking for a place to have breakfast. We searched up “breakfast restaurants” in the area with 4 or more stars. Google maps had this place at a 4.6, so we thought we would give it a try. When we drove up we found parking a little cramped. Driving one vehicle and a truck pulling a Uhaul trailer - we parked down the road and walked. Entering the restaurant the young lady that greeted us sounded like she wasn’t happy to see us at all “how many?” and gave us a wait time that sounded like she hoped we would reconsider and go somewhere else, but we said “it’s fine, no problem, we’ll wait” she came back a few short minutes later with attitude and sat us. She sat us right behind the wall next to the restrooms at the bar. It was cramped and seemed strange that the place would be so small since we had to walk all the way around the building to get in. My husband said he thought there was a larger dining area on the other side because he could hear voices coming from that end. I got up and went down to the other end and sure enough there was a main dining area there. I went back and joined my family at our table and waited. Our server was very nice. The food took a little while to come out, but it looked very fresh. I ordered the Eggs Benedict, one waffle with vanilla cream cheese and fresh fruit. My son ordered the biscuits and gravy plate. My husband ordered a breakfast plate. We tried a little of everything brought to our table. Here’s what we really enjoyed: the eggs (cooked to perfection), the hollandaise sauce (so rich and creamy), the bacon (perfect thickness and meat on each strip), sausage (great seasoning and tender), the waffle cream (a light vanilla with smooth and buttery cream cheese), fresh fruit (no spoiled or squishy pieces), the biscuits - without the gravy (the biscuit was buttery, soft and had great flavor) and the waffle (the breading was dense but soft and had great flavor) Here’s what we didn’t like: that the hash browns were greasy, the gravy (it was very bland and black pepper content was through the roof and made it too intense to eat), the giant sugar crystals in the waffles, the seating and the attitude from the hostess. Other than that it was an overall good experience. I would definitely go back. I would just ask to be seated in the main area and order things a little differently. Thank you to our server for making us feel so welcome and for taking such good care of us.“

“The spaghetti and meatballs is always a good choice. However, after coming here for almost six years, the red chile alfredo with sausage is amazing. Whatever you order, be sure to get the creamy tomato and basil soup. You will not regret it.“

“I eat at Cocina every time I am in town from ABQ. I wish there was one in ABQ. I can not find a decent potato taco up north. Everything I’ve tried at Cocina is pure class. Outstanding potato tacos! Salsa is the best in Las Cruces since My Brothers place closed. I would give 6 stars if it was an option.“

“Hard to believe, but this was my first visit to Texas Roadhouse. We weren't sure what to expect, but our server was super patient and helpful. The rolls, amazing. I got a hurricane margarita, that was delicious as well. For an appetizer, we decided on the cheese fries. They were really good. For my meal, I ordered the chicken fried chicken, no gravy, with steak fries, macaroni and cheese, and a side of their barbecue sauce. Everything was soooo good. Overall, excellent experience, excellent service, and excellent food. We will definitely be returning.“

“Food is delicious. The cook cuts the meat into small pieces, from one piece of meat he makes 4 pieces. So the meat gets overcooked, hard, and dry. That's not good meatI wanted it my meat. Medium well.He gave me a medium rare. The jelly is too sweet. They need a larger Parking lot for the truck drivers.“

“The sweet and sour pork is not the traditional Chinese fried battered sweet and sour gooey thick red sauce. It was not battered. It was more like a stir fry with a delicious sweet, sour, hot sauce. It wasn't thick , it was just a nice delicious sauce with some vegetables and pork. I have not had anything that tasty in along time. I had a medium hot. It was just the perfect hot. I normally get hot or Thai hot, but the medium was just right. My son brought it home so I don't know about the service or atmosphere so i didn't grade that. It was really far too, about 17 miles. I would drive that far for that deliciousness.“

“Easily in the top 3 for my favorite pizza in Las Cruces. Sauce has a good flavor. The crust is seasoned just right. Toppings appear fresh and were used at a perfect amount to balance the mix. One thing I look out for with pizza in New Mexico is the green chile. It could have been hotter for my taste. However, there was plenty added to the pizza, and it had the great flavor I expect from a New Mexico business. This pizza is at a good price point to make it a usual order. I would like a little crispier bottom of the crust and will be requesting a very slight more cooking time for my next order. The guy working the counter (reciept says Dennis) was very prompt and polite.I had to use Clover to order online, and I'm not really fond of it. For delivery, they use a different online service, and it seemed complicated as well. Of course, there are all the usual delivery apps and slice, but they all raise the prices to high compared to clover or direct with the store.I will definitely be a usual customer at road runner pizza.“
“We had a wonderful lunch at Little Toad Creek, it's a nice hang out spot with friendly staff and a nice selection of sandwiches. As we walked through the outside seating, we were greeted nicely and welcomed in, they even held the door for us!!We came for the distillery so were a little disappointed that the actual distillery is in Silver City. We did get to have a tasting though and what we tasted was really good! The spirits are genuine and true, meaning the vodka is nice smooth tasteless vodka, the gin is mildly junipered and also smooth and the agave spirits are truly agave and again, nice and smooth. They had me at Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup!! Sadly, I was disappointed as the sandwich was somehow dry and the soup was the consistency of pudding! It tasted fine and I finished every bite, just wasn't up to my expectations. Hubby had the New Mexico Reuben and said it was good, just not quite enough pastrami. The Asian Slaw though, that was delicious and we even got some to go!“

“I have been here several times and the food is always phenomenal. It should be illegal to sell food this delicious. But I’m glad it’s not, because I don’t think I could live without it! The cooks/staff are entertaining to listen to and attentive to their tables. The owners or their family/friends are always sitting in the back chatting and that’s really cool. I love this place so much. If I could eat here every day, I would.“
