“We stopped by for lunch and we were pleasantly surprised with this cute restaurant. I had the red pozole and it was good. I also had the green chile fettuccine pasta and it was delicious 🤤. The rest of our party also tried different dishes such as the breakfast enchiladas and the sandwiches and they also loved their food.“

“Possibly one of the best chile rellenos I’ve ever had. The monster margarita was $13 and well worth it however, when I originally asked her how much it was, she quoted me $10. Great service and I had an awesome server. I thought the refried beans had an odd texture to it though. I was sitting in the bar area. I’ve never heard of a restaurant charging you $1 for a side of flour tortillas The dining area lights were a little harsh. Also, if you pay with a credit card you get charged a little bit more. I know I’m splitting hairs here. I would give it an 8.5.“

Ordered fish tacos, octopus a la diabla tacos, and the 7 seas soup and everything was seasoned just right and had just the right amount of kick. We did wait about 30-40 mins for our order at lunch hour on a Saturday but was well worth the wait (don't come here if you're in a rush, expect a wait) Overall delicious food and friendly service!

“I was in town just a few days, previous week I looked up restaurants and noticed their brisket skillet--but didn't notice it was a breakfast item.
Showed up for supper only to realize my error. But the waiter interceeded for me with kitchen staff and they made it for me.
WONDERFUL service to accommodate me like that!!!!
The brisket was outrageously good: I told them to start making it into jerky!
And their sweet tea with a touch of cinnamon was a new one on me and an instant favorite!
Well done all around!!!“

“We stopped at Los Mariachis as we were hungry and it was rated a 4! Not sure why it wasn’t a five!🤷🏼 It’s truly a five star restaurant!!!The service was fast. Yvonne was a great waitress and we were a group of 14! She didn’t write down our selections and brought us everything we asked for! No mistakes! She a pro so ask for her! The food was hot and generous and authentic. Don’t pass this place up! Quaint and so good! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️“

“We were there last night. 9/30 ... dealt with the nicest and most helpful person in the entire city of Las Cruces! She was at the country store and I wont butcher her name ... she deserves better. But goodness she gave great service. There was another female employee who wasn't very nice and despite that - I will still drop 5 stars because of the worker in the country store. EVERY ONE SHOULD TAKE LESSONS from her. ... hey RUDY'S .. acknowledge her please because she helped make a stressful day into a relaxing evening. She made Southern Hospitality a real experience.

“Best to look at the menu before you arrive at the restaurant. When you enter, you order at the counter and then find a seat. Complimentary chips and salsa were delicious. I ordered the beef fajita plate and my husband ordered the brisket burrito smothered in red. It took our order 35 minutes to come out. We were in a larger party and people who arrived after us recieved their food so much quicker than us and when my husband went up to ask about it, they said the fajitas take longer. We finally got our food and I was disappointed. Not that much meat and barely any onions and no bell peppers, they use strips of green chile to mimic bell peppers. Beans were good. No rice. Lettuce and guacamole piled on one side of the plate. No tortilla. My husband said his brisket burrito was interesting because the meat was marinated in the BBQ sauce, but then put into a burrito with red chile smothered. Ground beef taco was good. Maybe we will go back and try different things on the menu. Prices were very affordable.“

“I went there today for the first time since moving to Las Cruces a few months ago. The food was excellent. Steak was cooked perfectly. There was a great atmosphere about the place. Clarissa was our waitress and to be honest, one of the best waitresses I've ever had. She was attentive, quick, and exchanged playful banter with the table. If you can get more employees like her, you definitely should. I'll absolutely be back. 10 out of 10.“

We both had the Bento Teriyaki steak box and it was out of this world, super fresh vegetables the teriyaki was light and not over sweet but the item the blew our minds was the tender and savory filet mignon. Nana, our server was fantastic. She was gracious and professional. We will come back soon we highly recommend Sakura Japanese Steakhouse.“
