Ultimately ordering my steak “rare” and it was cooked to medium well (if I’m being generous). Baked potato was way over cooked. My son ordered the ribeye and his was cooked nicely. Waitress was friendly, but they seem preoccupied with something else going on during our visit…

Today was excellent. Food was spot on. Sylvia, our waitress, never let our drinks empty and took great care of us.

Road food is normally God-awful, this place was a surprise. A great burger and fried sweet potatoes. Teriyaki chicken and stir fried veggies in central Texas? I love this place.

An awesome little gem! Sunday I had the buffet. They had chicken fried steak, lasagna, and steak. All was outstanding. Also green beans, mashed taters, and white gravy.
Maybe it was just a bad day for the location but there were no plates or silverware. The severs were obviously short staffed but they would still sit you down and say they were going to take care of you. Chose to eat the buffet since we were never brought menus, half the buffet stayed empty.

Nice find right off the freeway. The steak was good and cooked just the way I ordered it The baked potato was served wrapped in foil and felt like old time home cooking. My glass had a bit of a chip but that just added to the atmosphere for me.
