Authentic Nicaraguan food, this what my in-laws from Nicaragua said. I have been there last year so I decided to come back with them and they loved the food. I really liked their frittanga de res, and their cacao drink. I wish it was closer to my house to visit them more often!

Casual South Houston Nicaraguan spot known for authentic, home‑style dishes like parillada, quesillos and hearty nacatamales that many locals rave about for flavor and generous portions. Friendly owners and a warm, family vibe make it memorable, though quality and consistency can vary and the cozy space fills fast — great for adventurous, affordable Nica eats!

I went two Sundays ago with the hope of trying food from my country, I went in and said hello, the waitresses or the person at the cashier didn't even answer me, I was standing waiting and they didn't tell me wait or anything, in the end I went to look for another place to eat. There is a lot to learn in terms of attention.

Bad service, the owners are very rude, I don't recommend this place at all ?
The food is average but the place is terrible, it has a bad smell, the music is very loud and the one who arrives sings on the weekends worse, bad voice and very high volume for a very small place, the tables are terrible, they are ready to throw it away
The best Nicaraguan food in the United States! The place is humble but the food and service fill your stomach and your heart! Above all because of its seasoning and attention….. The man who serves adds seasoning to his food and his jokes. Super recommended.
I love this place. I’ve been going here for years. They treat me like family. The food is always amazing and it feels like I’m eating at a relative house. Definitely recommend it.
