I had been here once before. Years ago, pre-plandemic. I checked online to verify it was still open Visited late afternoon. The place is fairly small- maybe 20-25 tables. There was a couple but they left minutes later. I ordered a cacao drink, because I asked if they had zanahoria-naranja (carrot-orange) drink and they did not. For dinner, I ordered the "cerdo asado", broiled pork meal. It also comes with green fried plantains, sweet plantains "maduro", nicaraguan style cole slaw, and "gallopinto", which is a uniquely nicaraguan mix of rice and beans, and fried cheese. The portion was large. I kept a portion of the broiled pork to take home. Everything was delicious. Broiled pork was juicy and tender.
