Had to make sure to come on here and give credit for the great experience. My family and I were out in SP on a weekend trip and on Sunday night we began to search for restaurants to have dinner at and realized almost all of them closed at 9pm (it was almost 8:30). We came across Kohnami which closed at 9:30pm. We ended up arriving at 9pm, 30 minutes before closing, and we were treated as if they had just opened. We had the absolute best experience at Kohnami Teppanyaki for my daughter’s birthday! From start to finish, everything was top-notch.
Our chef, Alex, was a total class act — incredibly skilled, personable, and entertaining. He made the whole table laugh and wowed us with his cooking tricks while serving up some of the most delicious teppanyaki we’ve ever had.
