The pecking duck is fire, general tsos, crab Rangoon, dumplings etc. Awesome. DanDan...booboo.

Went here with family for my nephew's birthday. It was my 1st time- and we were so impressed!! Only a 25 min wait for a party of 6 on a Fri. night. William came over and started interacting with our 3 yr old- gave her a little shogun toy. And when he went behind the noodle bar- he playfully threw a couple dough balls back at her- just to help entertain while we waited... May our server was very helpful and courteous! She took great care of us. The food was hot, fresh, and huge portions! And once at the table- William was back again, filling my daughter's purse with fortune cookies & chocolates- we were so amazed! And I have never been to a restaurant where the employees interact with families and small children like this- our entire visit was awesome. I can not WAIT to go back... THANK YOU FOR A GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!

I am absolutely disgusted with the service I’ve received in this establishment. Honestly I’ve heard great things and even tasted a few items but to come on a Monday afternoon, with maybe 12 tables filled. A few people waiting for pick up orders and myself waiting for a two top. No one approached us for a couple of minutes, the guy in all black comes from behind the bar and asked how many? I told him two and he looks around and say okay wait a little somebody will come. So we sit down and watch as two couples come in and be seated by a waiter. Then she comes back and asked us if we wanted a table the guy behind the bar just looks at us. She seats us and sends our waiter over to take our drink order and as she’s doing that I watch the guy from behind the bar proceeds to sit another two tables all white. I was in total shock and no longer had a appetite.

I love Dragon House and would eat there all the time. Last night I got sesame chicken, chicken and combo hand pulled noodles, and egg drop soup. It must have been a very off night, before the winter storm, but the food had no flavor and did not taste like what Dragon House always taste likes. Very sad as I spent a lot of money for the food to not taste like Dragon House. Very sad 😔
I came back tonight 2/15 and the food was absolutely fabulous!!! 10 out of 10!!!

I ordered lo mein from Dragon House and unfortunately it was one of the worst takeout experiences I’ve had. The noodles were undercooked and still hard in the middle, like they hadn’t been boiled long enough before being stir-fried. The texture was chewy and doughy instead of soft.
I couldn’t finish the meal because it just didn’t taste properly prepared. Very disappointing, especially for a basic dish like lo mein. I hope they improve their quality control in the future.

Orange chicken is 20 dollars lol like is this a joke? Just because we're in south lake? You know its American Chinese food? 20 dollars a plate for orange chicken, that should tell you everything.
Update 2026 now 21$ and still Panda Express quality.

We tried the wagu and pork dumplings, both of which were phenomenal. We also had the sesame beef and cashew chicken, which were both very good. All the food tasted flavorful and like it was made with quality Ingredients. Service was attentive and polite. We would recommend and we will be back!

We reached there at 9:20 and the bartender said our kitchen is closed, online it says they close at 10:00pm, we were very disappointed by their behavior!

Second time having lunch at Dragon House. The first time, it was recommended by a friend. The second visit was recommended by me. Surprisingly big portions of excellent food, but the stars of the show were the dumplings - we had the dumpling sampler and it was nothing short of amazing. The service at Dragon House is excellent - they were very good at explaining the menu and offering advice. Can't wait for my next visit to Dragon House.
