Mikoto Ramen Bar and Sushi

It was the best sushi I ever had. The noodles were so good everything was so good. I really recommend this place.our server Kevin was also so polite and helpful. 100% we will be back.

Really great place and my first experience at a Ramen place. So many good choices and the portions are all very large. My family and I went and we all tried 2 different things and we passed things around. There was plenty of food and left overs. We spent $100. Sushi x3, Ramen bowl x2, fried rice, dumplings x2 and 2 drinks.

Service was phenomenal and our server was very sweet and attentive.

The esthetic was really cool and fun with large statues of anime characters like goku.

100% recommend this place!

It's a beautifully decorated restaurant, right amount of lighting, great atmosphere. But the fried rice just missed the mark for me. To start off, it's jasmine rice (far from Japanese), a sin that I'd gladly forgive if they had nailed the rest. Second, it's just too much oil. It tuned out greasy and bland. If there's any seasoning, it's mostly undetectable. The gyoza is crispy on the outside and cold inside, a sign it's not fresh. The Pork Bao tastes like angel cake. Overly sweet dough, with traces of pork, also cold and falling apart, not fresh at all. But the service is fast and the lady is kind, so that's a positive.

Environment is perfect! Very good food and service! I love ramen so much! Especially Black garlic one ! Very flavorful! And sushis are fresh and delicious! I love tiger roll so much! With crunch and salmon! Everyone should try it ! The server, he was so sweet!

Don’t think I’ve ever wanted to cook my own food more than after coming here. Really missing my boxed golden curry right about now too. Curry tonkotsu: bland, watery curry with bland deep fried pork.

Additionally, asked what was in one of the generic sushi rolls and the waitress didn’t know and said they would ask.

I watched them walk around, drop some food off, and came back and said “they (kitchen) couldn’t answer what’s in it”

Probably because you didn’t ask?

And that’s after waiting 10 minutes past our reservation time to be seated and then another 10 minutes to have anyone come ask for an order…

Full 4 person table sat after us got all of their food and we were still waiting.

Maybe it was a bad day, but probably won’t come back here.

Tried Mikoto Ramen Bar & Sushi and honestly loved it. The ramen had deep, comforting flavor and the sushi tasted super fresh — you can tell they really care about quality. Everything came out nicely presented and the portions were just right.

The staff was welcoming and service was quick without feeling rushed. Great atmosphere for a relaxed dinner or catching up with friends. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to.

Mikoto has the best Pork Chashu Buns that exist!! I can go and just get 3 of them and be so happy! Their sushi is solid, and really everything i have had here is pretty good. The vibe and service are great as well. Overall I give them an 8.4/10 but the pork Chashu buns are literally a 9.8/10. Those things are to die for.

I've dined in twice & it is always a real treat whenever my jiu jitsu buddies & I can meet up at Mikotos. Firstly, the atmosphere is very cozy and perfect place to enjoy a conversation over your meal, secondly the sushi roll selection is A1 AMAZING. I order any & all of the deep fried rolls but my favorite is the charmander roll. Service is kind and whole heartedly welcoming. Best Japanese food in DFW area, in my opinion.
