Have a friend visiting from VA, who is a loyal NBCakes customer there. She had a loyal customer BOGO coupon. When she attempted to utiliz it in your store, she was treated extremely rudely. Even though the stores are franchises, you are still an ambassador to your brand. Very dissapointing.

We had the pleasure meeting Joy! She was the cashier/server tonight when we went in for something sweet after having dinner nearby. She lived up to her name. Very friendly, and a contagious smile. I haven't been to this location in a while but will set a reminder and pop in again soon.

The cake was delicious, but I looked like a unicorn when I asked for a spoon/fork so my daughter could enjoy her treat on the way home. Spending a few dollars on plastic forks is not an unreasonable expense or expectation.

Every time I order online and get a receipt in my account, I show up at my pick up time and they supposedly can’t find my order. I have to show my credit card (even with a receipt). I honestly believe it’s based on how a person looks. Probably because this location is discriminatory! Also why is my order not ready when I show up 30-45 mins after my pick up time, they are still trying to put my order “together”?

I occasionally drop in to this location when in the area to pick up a bundtlet. The cakes are usually very moist and fresh. Today, I am not sure if the cake had been overcooked or if it was just old but it was very dried out and stale. The icing was the same as always but the cake itself was not edible. Very disappointed.

Allll time favorite cakes! I never was a fan of the general icing that normal store bought cakes have, so when I found nothing handy cakes, I never looked back. Every flavor is top notch the best... and the icing... oh my. You don't want to throw that away!

I've shopped here several times, typically preorders and just pickup. I came in store today to buy a cake and the cashier first rang me up then the manager intervened and cashier told me they didn't have any. I asked different sizes 8" or 10" and nothing. Strangely they acted like they had no cakes at all when i can clearly see them on display.I left the store pulled up my phone as was able to order the same cake. I walked back in and the same cashier rang up my pick up order and went back to the store. She took a good amount of time and came back with a surprise a cake.When I asked how come I couldn't buy one earlier, she said it is because I asked for the light flavor. The only thing light I asked for was light drizzle and I was able to order it on the online order with no issues. Even if that were the case, she simply could have told me they had other flavors not just dismiss me from the store.It seems some of the negative reviews were right, about the racial undertones. I am black and was very disappointed in this experience. Especially with a manager involved to treat customers poorly.

If you are Black do yourself a favor and order online then pick up that’s the only way you will get a cake from this place, Otherwise you will walk in and they will say they don’t have any cake for purchase, Yet other people are walking in and purchasing the same cakes they said that they do not have!! The manager in this store is the most racist person you will ever meet!! The Flowermound and the Denton locations are both awesome !
