Yesterday, I grabbed dinner from Salata - Southlake and the goal was to go heavy on protein but no more than what I asked for. As I was eating my salad, I discovered a locust (grasshopper) laying perfectly across my fork dripping dressing marinate from it's tail which was holding on by a thread. I'm so grossed out to think this would have been my next bite 🤢🤮 had I not looked down first.
To some locust 🦗 are considered a delicacy but I don't want to see it anywhere...read full review
Always have a great experience at Salata. Always a great, well stocked, colorful variety of selections. Was the first time at the Southlake location. Was also day 2 of dining in from the CoVid issues. Smelled extremely clean with Clorox/bleach. Felt nice to be able to dine in. Friendly staff. Thank you for our first time out in 7 weeks. Was very enjoyable.
