Truluck's Ocean's Finest Seafood and Crab

We are fans of TruLuck. First time at Southlake store. Purchased the featured steak dish for $110. The steak was crazy salty. My wife ordered lobster and it was rubber. The couple we were with also had salt issues.

Service was excellent? Food was yummy! Overall great experience for a family holiday dinner.

The food was good but nothing special. For these kind of prices my expectation is to be wow this is amazing. It was not, I've had just as good at Pappadeaux or Red Lobster at 1/3 of the cost. Manager called to discuss my review the following day and I was honest in my assessment as I was here. He promised to make it right on my bill and he did just what he said. Very high integrity on Management and I will return. I have been Wow at this restaurant previously and expect I will be again on my next visit

Our service was EXCELLENT, at the bar by Gracie and at our table by Marteen. Delicious food, great selection of beverages, appetizers, desert was complimentary for our celebration and the Valet person was friendly and courteous. Overall a wonderful evening with friends!

This is my favorite restaurant for Birthday celebrations. Always the vest service and food.

Martin, our waiter, was superb. My wife's food, the pasta with lobster, was the best ever. My food, 3 lobster tails was good, but tasted a bit overdone. Not real fond of the spinach. Lemon butter was the great. Desserts were the best. First time visitor, will be back.

This continued our tradition of Lunch at Truluck's on Black Friday. As always, the food, the ambience and the service were fantastic! From the moment we were greeted by the valet, to a warm welcome from Mike (the General Manager), the cozy Christmas decorations, and a wonderful dining experience courtesy of Alyson (our server) - a truly memorable occasion at Truluck's in Southlake!

Allison was an excellent server. Efficient, knowledgeable and very polite and respectful to my 92 yo mother.

Great food and service for Thanksgiving. My teens enjoyed having a wider choice of food for the holidays.

Our Thanksgiving meal was a wonderful experience. Our server Kevin went out of his way to make sure we had a great time. From raw oysters to the turkey and dressing the food was expertly prepared and served.

I'm kind of a steakhouse junkie. Lonesome Dove, Chamberlain's ... in the DFW Bob's, Perry's, Kirby's ... the two new ones, Capital and Rosebud. NO ONE cooks and finishes meat like Truluck's, imho. Last night my wife and our two guests saw something happen that I haven't seen since Carter was President ... all of our entrees were done perfect. Flawless. For what it's worth, "Alex" was on the grill. Krista took marvelous care of us. Jeff managed the joint well. But for me, all the jokes and strokes in the world don't matter if I ask for rare and get something dry and gray. (It would be rude to mention Bob's by name, so I won't.) As previously stated, all the product was out of the park. Crab fried rice is a must for me and Mrs. The carrot cake MIGHT be the planet's best. So, from me, Truluck's earns my highest grade for 2025. 10/10/10. Excellent job, guys. Mahalo.

Chef did amazing on the entire meal! Missed seeing Ken Alford but it just means we have to book another reservation soon.

We went to Truluck's to celebrate my husband's birthday and enjoy some Stone Crab claw. The crab cake appetizer was excellent. It was a little small to share but full of crab. We ordered the Stone Crab dinner, large claws, and it included mashed potatoes and asparagus. The Stone Crab claws were amazing, just the right portion. The mashed potatoes were very dense, not light and fluffy, like they had been plated for a while. The complimentary baked alaska was a nice touch. Our waiter was great, didn't feel rushed to get in and get out.

The service and food were exceptional. We were celebrating a birthday and Truluck's contributed to make it a successful celebration. We had no idea that a great seafood restaurant was able to prepare an exceptional Prime Rib. It was the best my wife and I can recall in the past few years.
