Don't know how the food is as we sat down and no one looked at us for over 10 minutes. We got up and left. No one even noticed. Will not try again.
Good vibes, good job poodie
As a lover of dive bars this place is the best. If you are a pretentious douch who wants everythinglike where they moved from, dont go here.
Decent, honest Texan who like cold drinks, good music, and great service this is a great place.
Great live music, fun and playful patrons, terrific food and friendly staff
Read over the lowest rated comments. THEY ARE TRUE! Just don’t bother these folks by stopping in here, they don’t want your business.
A fun night indeed!!!

Boss and I went for a little late lunch. Sat at the bar to order food. The bartender quickly asked what we would like, gave him our order, and then the bartender joined us in conversation about The Longhorns, The Tide, The Bulldogs, and other stories of The ATX. Had a cool lunch, food was good, and atmosphere was cool!!! We will go back soon...

The parking lot is bigger and nicer since I was here last, but the folks are as sweet as all get out and the Poodie Burger is top shelf. Paired with an ice cold Shiner Bock, what's not to love? God Bless y'all Poodie!

Fantastic beergarden, nice and friendly staff, local country music band played for free with some couples dancing. A genuine place with a lot of Willie Nelson memorabilia. Also the locals were very nice and chatty. Typical bar food - nothing extraordinary, but alright for such a place.

Spent the afternoon at Pace Bend Park, then googled a place to eat and go dancing. Had to pay $20 door fee just to get in and the night was billed as a music festival. We were excited at first, atmosphere looked fun. It was in reality all local musicians who would be willing to play for free I think. Not one person got up to dance in 2 hours we were there waiting for some decent music. Dance floor is uber small. Food is bar food right out of the freezer; burgers, hot dogs, grilled cheese, french fries etc. If you’re good with that than you know what to expect. I think this is a favorite hangout for the locals, thats cool for them I guess. Kudos to their website developer, great website but dont believe anything it says about honky tonk music and dancing.

All kinds of folk listening to to live country music. Didn’t try the food, but wish they had IPA on tap. Nice guy let us sit at a good table.
