Amazingly located rustic roadside bar with views of the surounding hill county. They have numerous bar stools, tables, and outdoor patios, including terraces to enjoy a drink while watching the sunset. They have stages inside and outside hosting several acts per week beneath a Texas flag or the Texas sky. Also a great place to sip a lone star while watching the cowboys win.
No bad days here.
They have a large free parking lot behind the building.

Very cool place with friendly/welcoming clientele and staff, serving pretty good bar food! We stopped by on a Sunday evening around 10, so it was pretty quiet. Definitely recommend checking it out!

Live music every night. If you are a Willie Nelson fan and are in the area it is a must stop to experience. Great service reasonably priced drinks.

It can definitely be a vibe. It was awfully loud given the inside was quite small. It was difficult to speak to the hostess, bartenders. You had to go to the bar to order food and drinks. It wasn't a roadhouse per se , more like a dive bar. It had eclectic decor. And the live band was pretty decent! They have a small dance floor where you can slow dance with a partner or Texas two-step as a group (a small group). We ordered the chicken tenders with gravy. It came with fries and toast. It took about 15 minutes to get the food, but it was piping hot when we got it. The gravy tasted watered down, the chicken wasn't anything fancy it seemed like frozen supermarket chicken stripe. The fries were tasty, and they seasoned them with salt and pepper (just for our order, they seemed to have more pepper than salt). This place is located on a hill, so you have to drive up the incline then drive around back to park. It was surprisingly clean besides tables that wer a actively in use. It was pretty busy and the 3 ladies working were working hard.

Don't know how the food is as we sat down and no one looked at us for over 10 minutes. We got up and left. No one even noticed. Will not try again.
Good vibes, good job poodie
As a lover of dive bars this place is the best. If you are a pretentious douch who wants everythinglike where they moved from, dont go here.
Decent, honest Texan who like cold drinks, good music, and great service this is a great place.
Great live music, fun and playful patrons, terrific food and friendly staff
Read over the lowest rated comments. THEY ARE TRUE! Just don’t bother these folks by stopping in here, they don’t want your business.

Boss and I went for a little late lunch. Sat at the bar to order food. The bartender quickly asked what we would like, gave him our order, and then the bartender joined us in conversation about The Longhorns, The Tide, The Bulldogs, and other stories of The ATX. Had a cool lunch, food was good, and atmosphere was cool!!! We will go back soon...

The parking lot is bigger and nicer since I was here last, but the folks are as sweet as all get out and the Poodie Burger is top shelf. Paired with an ice cold Shiner Bock, what's not to love? God Bless y'all Poodie!
