One of the best meals I've eaten this year was at La Palapa Coastal Cantina tonight. Every dish we tried was made from scratch with fresh ingredients, the portions were generous and most importantly everything was delicious. The restaurant was very busy but we didn't have to wait an extraordinary amount of time to get our food. Our waitress was attentive, our drinks never went empty and I felt very well taken care of.

La Palapa Coastal Cantina Spring offers a mix of great food and service. First-time visitors were very happy with the lunch special, blackened fish with dirty rice and charro beans, and noted the phenomenal presentation of to-go meals. The seafood flautas are the best, and the seafood boil, fish tacos, and seafood enchilada are all fabulous. The steak fajita tacos and seafood enchiladas are also loved. The staff is kind and helpful, and the host is super nice. There are many great selections to choose from, with great specials like $4.99lb Crawfish Mondays and Wednesdays. However, some customers have no manners, yelling and letting kids stand on tables, making it a hit or miss. The gumbo was not a favorite.
