The service is great. Friendly. Helpful. One of the only places I’ve found in Texas that has poboys the way they should be.

I pass by this place often. I always wanted to try and I wasn't disappointed. The catfish and my sides (dirty rice and green beens) was hot, fresh and good. I will be back for those onion rings. They make their own special sauce. Yummy ?
It pains me to write this review because the place seems nice but I can't let people think that the oyster poboy I had was an authentic New Orleans style poboy. First, I raised in New Orleans and I decided to give this place a try because of the high reviews. I asked that the oysters to be fried hard that didn't mean flat. The batter was panko which is a NO NO. They could have been fried in fish batter at least. Next, there was roumalde in place of mayo. A dressed poboy means mayo, lettuce, tomato and pickles. Now the roumalde could have be on side but not on the poboy. To top it off and the most important is the bread. FRENCH BREAD. The bread was bobilio or mexican bread. Who does this to a poboy. It was flat and chewy. This was no way by far a traditional poboby and it looked like there was some kind if slaw on it instead of lettuce. I make poboys at home waaaaaayyy better than this and I've been in Houston for 23 years...smh...This was a disgrace. They need to do some research and revamp the menu. I can send pictures of what it should look like compared to what I got or better yet, look at Papadeaux's, BB's poboys and a few others in the city. I guess those who dont know what a poboy look or taste like wouldn't know better but I assure you , this was not it by a long shot. Very disappointed and good luck.

This is a very clean shop. Not fancy. I mean, napkins are a paper towel. And I love that. My money goes to paying for exceptionally good food in a clean restaurant. Much better than fancy tablecloths and napkins. Service is very good. Very attentive. Best catfish in the north Houston area.

Iam OUTRAGEDDDD! I get to the bottom of my cup and there’s a roach chilling in the bottom of my cup! There’s no telling what was inside of my food. I will not be coming back! ZERO STARS
