Went to the location in Porter, TX. First off the young man at the front counter was very nice and friendly. I ordered the 1/4 pound burger and then waited a while for our food to arrive, I’m not even exaggerating the burger was smaller than a McDonald’s kids meal. The top bun was also burnt, I asked the employee if I could get my food remade he told me that “Uncle Tony” said no. Not one time did the owner even acknowledge me that I had a problem with my visit. Amazing! Absolutely Amazing!
The woman serving me was rude from the first moment I encountered her. She had only one other customer at the time (early Saturday afternoon at Deacon Baldy’s) and acted irritated to take my order for a cheeseburger without pickles. When we got my burger, it was slathered in mushrooms (which I never eat on burgers) and insisted to my husband that I had specifically asked for mushrooms. The burgers are excellent, amazing, juicy, and full of flavor, with specific mentions of the wonderful rattlesnake burger. The peri peri chicken is great, perfectly seasoned with the right amount of heat. Sides are a highlight, featuring unbelievable Cajun fries that are well-seasoned, crispy, and addictive, as well as perfectly crunchy hand cut fries. The Texas Cheesesteak is also wonderful.
