Not only are the donuts delicious, and they have a convenient drive through, but the place itself is adorable with a huge outdoor pergola area that mimics a park setting! Love love love! “No clue why the other reviewers only gave this place 4 stars. It is a true gem worthy of 5/5. I tried the glazed donut, the chocolate twist, and some jalapeño and cheese sausages. The donut was airy and light but slightly crispy. You could easily devour 5 in one sitting if you're not careful! The chocolate twist was also light and well balanced between dough to chocolate ratio which sometimes can go too far one way. The jalapeño and cheese sausages had a nice almost pickled jalapeño taste which I quite enjoyed. The couple running the place were also incredibly kind and you can tell those donuts are made with TLC. Would explain how they sold out of donut holes by 10 am. Donut Palace should be your first stop if you're in Azle looking for donuts.“
“Hands down THE freshest, perfect combination of soft and light with that crunch on the outside (I'm a fritter gal) and if you spend more than like 5 bucks... you get free donut holes! Guys, there is a reason they're sold out by 10. Set your alarm!“
“Weve tried a couple of other donut places in azle, but this one is the best. I take my daughter every Friday if shes good all week to get a couple of dounts. They are always fresh, the line goes fast and the people working there are always so polite. We look forward to it every week.“
“Holy moly. I have never been here and I was looking for a place to grab donuts with friends. I am so glad I read the review below that they drive out of their way to have these donuts. I CAN SEE WHY. OMG THE BEST donuts I have had in a long long time. Fresh, warm, fluffy and perfection. Wow I am blown away. The kolaches were warm and perfect.I always think eh I’m sure it will be an okay donut. I mean it’s a donut. BUT THESE are WORTH IT. I absolutely respect the level of care as anyone can make a donut but it takes care to make a fantastic donut. Job well done!“
