“After trying almost all donut places up and down Main St. and the surrounding area, Donna’s is the best by far. The cake donuts are ridiculous - blueberry or glazed. The jalapeño sausage rolls are amazing and they knocked the croissant sandwiches right out of the park. These are friendly folks and their prices are more than fair for the quality.“

Bacon Maple Donuts

“Best donuts in Weatherford (but also best I've ever had). These are so fresh & fluffy & tall. They are generously stuffed with filling. My favorites are lemon filled, apple, bacon maple & seasonal peach specials. They have fun kid ones (monster eyeballs, candy scenes) in the summer & Saturdays. Very cheap too- 75 cents (slightly more for bacon ones). Get there early because they go fast! Super friendly service. They serve other hot things too & every time I go people stock up on those more than the donuts so they've got to be excellent.“

“Excellent selection and service. The donuts are fluffy and not too sweet. Lots of delicious pastry items too including a spinach pastry that we loved! The strawberry sprinkle donut was perfect and the cinnamon sour cream donut was a real treat. Prices are reasonable. Definitely coming back next time I’m in town.“

“Quaint little donut shop that I would have driven past had not been directed by Google maps. That being said, I am glad I know it is there now. The greeting that I received at the drive-thru window started off a great experience. The sausage/cheese kolache was the best I have ever had, bar none. The donuts were fresh, and my daughter was amazed by the amount of sprinkles, which, if she would give a rating, would be 10/10. When back in Weatherford, this will be o e of my go-to spots.Kid-friendliness: They will love the sprinkles.“

“This place is beyond amazing. The coffee is fresh and they actually serve real sugar for it. The donuts were so fresh they were still brining them out as they got done. We ordered(keep in mind this is at 5:15am) A few pig and a blankets a blue berry crawler, donut and kolache, glazed, chocolate donuts and a jalapeño sausage in a blanket they actually have real kolaches unlike some other shops that call their pig in a blanket a kolache. They people are so nice here I would highly recommend Sue's Donuts & Kolaches if you are in Weatherford. Thank you so much for setting up our day by making our morning a great one.“

“New ownership? New management? Regular staff just on vacation? I'm not really sure what has happened, but I've had my 5-star review draft waiting for me to finish it for a while now, but a few changes have happened that has me removing a star. So let's start with the original draft... Thrre has pretty much always been the same young gentleman working the counter when my kids and I stop in. Always happy, always professional, helpful, and always love seeing a familiar face! With almost every donut or sandwich ordered, they would put 1 or 2 donut holes as a little extra treat into the bags. Whenever my kids came into the shop with me, they would make them feel special and give them each a donut hole while we waited in line or were still deciding on what to get. They had little plastic toy rings on almost all of the "kid" donuts and whenever my picky little toddler wanted a specific donut with a specific ring, we weren't made to feel like a burden of she asked to have the combo she really wanted. The donut cases always seemed full of fresh goodies, and you could see them continually swapping out the trays with a fresh batch as they were being sold. The young gentleman was also VERY skilled at multi-tasking and could be seen helping more than one person at a time, keeping lines moving quickly without anyone feeling like they were being ignoted, making sure to l, at the very least, greet/acknowledge as soon everyone as they walked in. Now, the changes... One day, we showed up and were surprised by a handwritten sign on the front door, stating that they were no longer open on Mondays. It was, of course, a Monday. Now, the kids and I are all bummed because we don't have time to make another stop before school. We get around to going back later in the week, and our regular guy isn't there. Instead, now there are two older people behind the counter, one male and one female. Maybe the owners are covering for their one awesome employee who is getting a well-deserved vacation? I figured he took the day off or was on vacation. Who knows, but it's been quitevabwile now, and I think maybe he isn't coming back. As sweet as the two new people are behind the counter, they just aren't our young guy. The two of them together can't seem to help people as quickly as he could alone. They haven't managed to get down the inventory numbers well enough to have enough of certain items prepared and ready to go, for example, rather than having a couple of each breakfast sandwich or burrito ready for heating, they have to stop and go in the back to assemble each order as people order them. The tray of donut holes meant for grabbing and throwing the extra little treat into your bag still sits on the counter behind them as it always has, but they never grab them or just throw them into your bags anymore. The cases are only partially full of donuts now, and not one of them has the little plastic rings in them anymore. I understand they are a bit older, but almost everything has to be said/asked for more than once, as it seems they either didn't hear or possibly understand what you said and it gets a little frustrating. We drive past MANY other shops on our way from home and even go past both my kids'schools to make that special morning trip to treat ourselves. Although these things may seem really insignificant to most, those little details are what made this our favorite donut shop and why we went out of our way to go to TJs over other shops. Sadly, I'm not sure if that will stay the same now.“

“This was such a cute little spot. The decor and overall look of the store was warm and inviting. Donuts were well stocked. The service was very friendly. We tried some of the classics like maple bars, glaze and chocolate and added a few of their cute options to our order as well. The donuts are light and airy, so if you're into a more cakey, dense donut, the options we tried were opposite of that. Very good donuts and prices were good. Would definitely come back when in the area.“
