Homestyle dining, decent food, nice service. The fried pork chop has been very good both times I have recently eaten there. The sides are not amazing, but generally not bad except the 'Mac and cheese'. It was a bowl of elbow macaroni with a scoop of some sort of white cheese sauce plopped on top. Disgusting.
We've been to Shinola's twice and had two different experiences. The first time the service was good and the food was good+. The second visit, the service was lazy and inattentive and the food was average at best. They've got a good variety on their menu. If this place was properly managed and the employees were trained better, they could do a lot better. We will probably give them one more try, but they currently aren't to the level that I would recommend them.

Southern comfort food but easy to eat healthy if you're of a mind to. :) their vegetable are great which can't be said of many places! Lots of options. Definitely give it a try!
